I have always dealt with UCI health in Yorba Linda, the people on the phone are nice, sensitive, responsive, and totally helpful. The UCI CHAO oncology phone staff are not anything close to the Yorba Linda, I was totally stressed out just to make an appointment, it was tough, really stressful and had to call multiple times just to get that done. It happened three times for three different requests. Thanks

Tumor removal
After a terrible experience with another insurance/health care company, I was referred out to UCI for a nerve sheath tumor removal from a very sensitive and delicate area. Dr. Keshava was patient and caring from the moment we met him. He addressed ALL of my concerns and treated me like an actual human and not just a number. The surgery was a success and I could not be more appreciative.

I got a new life
My right lung was damaged since 2014 and contaminated with fungus and used to cough up blood so I had to leave my normal life and job. I had consulted with famous doctors in big hospitals in South Korea and they were negative for surgery because my lung would be a mess with so many inflammations happened in it and stuck to walls and very dangerous to tear off. And finally I met Dr Keshava and he took the responsibility of removing off this decayed dead organ tenaciously by enduring 10 hours operation time and 7 packs of blood transfusions. I still do not imagine how he could finish it with his surgical teams so successfully. Now I do not cough blood anymore and no need to call 911 for life saving. God bless Dr Keshava and his team.
