Did Not report or properly treat MRSA infection
My wife was rehabbing from back surgery at Mentor Ridge Health & Rehab-Dr. Harbhajan S. Parmar was Medical Director. Two weeks before her discharge, abrasion opened a clean dry incision. A 'bed sore' as reported. Dr. Parmar ordered a wound culture. The lab report showed (3) infectious bacteria including MRSA-Staph: HEAVY GROWTH. He ordered an antibiotic despite a drug interaction WARNING: SEVERE. My wife, her family and her doctors were never told. The lab report was missing from her ENTIRE CHART. She was discharged with an unreported, improperly treated infection. She became weak with increasing pain and was hospitalized. An infectious disease specialist, neurosurgeon and MRI confirmed compression of her spinal cord requiring emergency surgery. The “infection has been in her bones for several months and obliterated two vertebrae” per I.D. doctor. She has been in hospitals, skilled nursing, and assisted living since. The probability of ever walking again is less than 50%.

Ignorance
He was supposed to come at 2 pm to discharge me and never showed until 7 pm. Then I had to wait even longer for him to write me a work note and the dates he put in were not even correct, he put in the wrong month. He had no bedside manner at all.

This is my third review for this person who calls himself a doctor. After hours of waiting (9) for him yesterday to release my husband (when he came in he had work out clothes on) he was to call in an antibiotic to our LOCAL pharmacy. He called it in to the hospital pharmacy after I repeatedly asked for our pharmacy. This person should not be taking care of people in need of a caring, dedicated doctor.

Was stuck having this man being my doctor after being admitted to Tri Point. He is horrible!! I am reporting him to the hospital complaint department. He mumbled as he tried to speak. Never was able to look you in the eye. Either looking at the TV or staring at the young woman in my room. Gave me the creeps. I was in the hospital 2 days longer than I should have been due to lack of communication. I asked the nurse a question that had to go through the doctor. I had to convince her to call. She said that when the nurses call he either doesnt call back or will hang up on them if he does. How sad is that? Next time I would rather leave in critical condition and go to another hospital than stay under his care. I'm sure I would see a doctor quicker if I transfered than if I waited for him

Dr. Parmar took care of my dad when no one else did. He changed my dad’s meds and my dad did much better than he had been doing. We all knew he was sick, but my dad was active to the very end. We did not have Dr. Parmar for a PCP. So we didn’t follow up in office.

This doctor is not one that I would recommend to anyone. When in the hospital, he made his rounds at 2:30am. Nobody could find him when it was time for him to discharge. His office was no better. He answered no questions and was rude enough to answer his phone more than once during the appt. The final straw came when I called to reschedule an appt only to be told that, even though I had the card that they gave me, they didn't have it in the system. I cancelled it and never went back!

If I could give zero stars, I would. He doesn't even deserve a tenth of a single star. I was, unfortunately, assigned to this "doctor" when I was admitted at TriPoint. He rounds on his patients ridiculously late at night (he came into my room for the first time at 11:30 pm - I had been admitted for almost 24 hours at that point). He did not listen to me, did not even attempt to help me, so on my 2nd day of admission, I told him to discharge me. This man is an epic failure of a doctor.

He has seriously been a complete disrespectful and unhelpful doctor. There is nothing that I can find credible about him. He has completely given up on my mom just because she was asking for a new doctor. He has no bedside manners, and no consideration. I really don't believe he knows how to do his job. I'm completely and utterly incapable of ever going back to him. I have no respect for him as a Person or doctor. He's not worthy of one star at all so unfortunately he gets that. Seriously
