I’m glad I met her !
She reduced 2 dislocation of my hip prosthesis at Memorial North after both ER docs failed. I wish I could call and thank her but U C health orthopedics won’t answer their phone!!!!

If she treats it, see her!
Dr Mendez is amazing - all of the traits of a perfect doctor. She is very knowledgeable and has the expertise to treat the hard things (like my meniscal root tear). She does not push for anything unnecessary and lets you know your options and their possibility of success. To top it off, she is so caring.

Great
I saw Dr. Mendez in Colorado Springs. She is a newer doctor but I found her very knowledgeable and up to date on the latest evidence based practice. I have hip dysplasia and labral tears and saw her for an injection that was recommended by a different doctor. Though she is a young doctor I would not be surprised if she was the top expert on hip dysplasia in the Springs! She knew WAY more about dysplasia than the doctors at the CCOE. It is an extremely challenging condition and I felt Dr. M was an amazing listener and great communicator about my options. Also, I am a nurse so I read all the doctor's notes. I have never seen a more thorough and accurate note in my life! I would definitely recommend doctor Mendez, especially for hip dysplasia even though she does not do those surgeries. So grateful to have found such a great doctor.
