Dr. Hani Rashid, MD

I was referred to Hani by a friend who was being treated for prostate cancer. He said “This is the guy to go to.” Trusting his opinion, I made an appointment, and am glad that I did. Hani is a great guy … smart, compassionate, and down to Earth. His bedside manner is outstanding. He made me feel at ease immediately. I could not give him a better recommendation.

Dr. Rashid made a very stressful time much less stressful, following an unexpected cancer diagnosis. His treatment plan was a radical surgical solution I was not expecting, and he recommended it be done within two weeks. Despite this, however, he was very thorough in explaining the detailed procedure, and inspired my confidence in him with his 'matter of fact' discussion of how he would do the surgery, and be successful. Despite it being radical surgery, he spoke as if it was a routine procedure for him. This gave me added confidence and lessened my stress. Two years later, he performed another surgery for a different problem I was having. Once again, his knowledge was amazing and gave me confidence in his plan for treatment. Both both surgeries went as expected with excellent results, no complications, and quick recovery times. I'd highly recommend Dr. Rashid as a top notch surgeon and caring physician who strives for excellent outcomes for his patients.

I met Hani 3 years ago when he was taking care of my mom who had bladder cancer. Throughout the late stages of her illness, Hani was a rock that anchored us and a source of constant support, empathy, understanding and unconditional expertise. During her 60+ day hospital stay, he was always accessible and managed her care with immense compassion. He never let me down. His commitment to my mom was unlike any other dr I’ve known. Not surprisingly, he’s now a cherished friend AND one of my own drs.
