Dr. Mortazavi made remarks during my appointment that were clearly inaccurate and he was not knowledgable in some of the basic treatment options that I had been researching. I did not feel that he took my concerns seriously or gave me viable treatment options. I unfortunately would not recommend Dr. Mortazavi to any of my friends or family.

Avoid This 'Professional' At All Costs
This doctor was the only neurologist in town with appointments available and I was desperate and thought he couldn't be that bad after seeing his reviews. He's the only doctor with openings because he is awful. He ran a few tests and when there wasn't an easy answer he told me I didn't have a problem despite physical and verifiable symptoms. He refused to run any additional testing and was out of the room within 3 minutes saying 'I'll just update your chart that you don't have any neurological condition' while I was left starting at the list of questions I wanted to ask. He had a very sinister and eerie demeanor that I have never experienced with any medical professional. Another neurologist within a few weeks diagnosed me with a neurological syndrome and ran a ton of additional tests (some being the testing I asked him for that he refused to run) without me having to ask for it based on the symptoms presented. Wait out a doctor that actually cares.

Great Doctor
Dr. Mortazavi was caring and immediately knew what my issue was (something I've been dealing with for weeks and that my primary doc didn't know what the cause was). He put me on a medication which is already helping and recommended some further treatment. I would most definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

I saw him last year. My first appointment with him lasted 10 minutes. I have MS and had questions for him since I was a new patient to him. He brushed me off, asked me what meds I needed refilling and what DMT I wanted to be on. That’s it! 10 minutes. When I got home, I read what he had written in my chart. Full exam, including checking walking and strength. I sent him a message stating he has done none of this. He called me, asking if I was trying to make him lose his job. I just told him that he had LIED on my chart. His comment was, he has treated hundreds of MS patients and he knows what to look for when he walks in. Then he changed my charts… but not before I took pics of them. He is NOT a good DR

I was to see Dr Mortazavi in Castle Rock, CO at Neurology of the Rockies and this is what happened. Seven weeks ago, I got the soonest appointment available to a Neurologist. I had seen a physician in this office several times but not this doctor that I was scheduled to see so they had me down as a New Patient. I do not have a car so I had scheduled a car service to take me to this appointment that I have waited weeks for. This car was supposed to pick me up at 9:30 for a 10 am appointment. The location was not far but the car picked me up 12 minutes late and I arrive at the office at 9:55 am. I was deemed late by the receptionist since I was believed to be a new patient and should have arrived at 9:45 to fill out paparwork. Finding out I was not new to the practice, and they had all my unchanged info then the receptionist went back to the doctor's office to ask him if he would still see me. This lady stood at the doctor's door (because doctor was on the phone) until 10:15 am when she asked him if he would see me, and he said NO because I was late. It was hard for me to keep my cool that he would not see me. ALL I Wanted was to ask if I was on the appropriate medication and doseage for my neuropathy as it was getting worse. I was asked if I wanted to make another appointment. I turned and walked out of the office.

I would not recommend Dr. Mortazavi's office. Evidently it is the patient's job to follow up and keep the process moving. Their organization is sorely lacking. If you are not proactive, you will not get anywhere.

The office is run by a bunch of idiots, they say they will call back and take their sweet old time getting back to you. They said they have to call my insurance company to make sure that a certain test will be covered. Two weeks later, no phone call so, I decided to call my insurance company and BAM! they told me it was covered ( this call took me 3 minutes). Protocall for billing is ridiculous. I pay in the office and still get sent another bill..

My wife seen the doctor on Sept. 14 2016. The doctor prescribed medication that caused mouth sores and dizziness. These were common side effects for this medication. She called his office on the 26th of Sept. leaving a message relating to the sores. No response. My wife had 6 dizzy spells in 10 days. Called the office today Oct.3rd. No response. We will be contacting a different neurologist. Not sure where the blame fall but it unacceptable
