None Better!
My husband and I were patients of Dr. Shimazu for over 10 years. He was like the old fashion doctor who knew how to treat any kind of medical problem that came up in our time as his patients. He was up-to-date on the latest medications and knew whether or not a prescription was covered by the insurance. He would literally run from patient-to-patient down the hallway to each of the exam rooms to make sure he didn't keep anyone waiting too long. He practiced medicine on a pro-active basis to assure his patients stayed healthy rather than waiting until they became sick. For many years, we drove 2 hours to our visits to Dr. Shimazu but sadly, when we moved to another state we had to say goodbye. Since then, we've never had a better doctor who actively strived to keep his patients well which he did in a most efficient manner with upmost knowledge. We sure miss him and there is none better!

Excellent care
I saw Ann after waiting for a new patient appointment. It was worth the wait! I came in with a list of concerns and each one was addressed. Two other doctors had been dismissive. At the end of my meeting Ann asked if there is anything else she could help me with. No one has ever offered help before. I have used their app for follow up communication and I receive a response the same day. Thank you.

Well went in for shoulder pain. Had an xray. They found a lung tumor. The Doctor actually left a message stating I had a tumor in my lung. Who leaves a message like that? Then we called to get more details and we were told he is with another patient. Then continuing the saga. After we saw a surgeon they ordered a pulmonary function test went in and they did not follow the doctor's orders so we had to go have it done again.

Dr. Hal Shimazu is one incredibly efficient, empathetic, knowledgeable professional! His walls are peppered with awards from the County of Orange to charitable organizations, and he gives excellent referrals. I appreciate his habit of doing tasks immediately, so patients don't wait for care! He tackles what you need while you're with him, so nothing is left to pile up. His office staff are as friendly as he is, & his I am very fortunate to have found such a sweet, energetic doctor!
