Rude, Rushed, Condescending
I had probably the worst patient-doctor interaction of my life with Haas. I had a few topics I wanted to discuss about my health and medical history and had done hours of research prior to my appointment to prepare for the discussion. Haas dismissed my concerns within seconds of hearing them and would not let me get a single word in otherwise. When I attempted to present tests I wished to be ordered along with my research to support those she told me she would “oblige to my many wishes” but threatened to put them in a self-pay in EPIC so that my insurance couldn’t be ran for them. She held no empathy or room for me to even express myself or my concerns and rushed my entire assessment. I would expect better care for an animal than I received. After years of neglecting myself with my children set as priority, this was my first PCP appointment in a long time and I was excited to finally address some of my own concerns and health for once. I left her office in tears.

Militant, moody and judgmental
Do not go to her with any non-routine conditions. She will simply refer you to psych and storm out.

Excellent Physician
I was seen by Dr. Haas as a new patient just yesterday and was immediately impressed by her ability to deploy an amazing bedside manner to perform a thorough exam and to ask meaningful and precise questions. I highly recommend her if you are looking for an excellent general practitioner.

Judgemental
I was referred to her and another doctor for a follow up after being given hypertension meds at the ER. Guess I picked the wrong doc. She was judgemental, wanted me off legal, prescribed substances I've been on for a long time, and didn't even address the issue I was there for. Spoke to me, a college educated, well spoken adult, like a child. Basically, wasted my whole morning. And her incredibly unprofessional receptionist called me honey 20 times in 3 minutes.

Had to give one star even though none are deserved. I'll definitely look for a new primary care physician after my last couple of visits with Dr. Haas. She's been my doctor for about six years and each year she gets more and more rushed. I used to love the fact that she would listen and take her time and be thorough. My last two visits, she couldn't get out of the room fast enough. She also wouldn't give me a chance to talk at all - constantly talking over me when I was trying to bring something to her attention. If there is something that you want to discuss then she says "We have to bring you back for that". Undoubtedly so that they can bill the insurance company for another office visit. My physical exam was literally no more than five minutes. I had several issues that I would have liked to discuss with her but she ran out so fast that I didn't have time. I'm pretty sure that this is the end of our relationship.

I have now been a patient of Dr. Gwen Haas for 2 years and I am so very happy and satisfied with her. Not only are they organized in her office, I have not had to wait to be seen once my intake is over and that means a lot to me, as that was in the past one of my frustrations. She is so wonderful, personable and always take the time to listen to my concerns & issues and will ensure that she provides a resource if it’s outside her scope of expertise. I appreciate the follow up given to me after an office visit. They are always accommodating if I need to be seen for an unscheduled office visit. She’s a breath of fresh air and it’s a blessing to know that if I need her, she’s only a phone call away. Kudos to my amazing Dr. Gwen Haas.
