Condescending and unhelpful
My husband had surgery and was in excruciating pain that evening. Dr. Trono was the doctor on call. He dismissed my concerns and told me to read the acetaminophen bottle when I asked about dosage options given that my husband has afib. It was clear he was inconvenienced by my call. He was condescending, dismissive and rude.

I'm cancer free
Dr. Trono took good care of me and the cancer I had. Only issue I had was his bedside manor. When he did my first cystoscopy did not prepare me for his findings, just came right out and said you have cancer. I almost fell off the table. Other then that he took care of me and my cancer.

I found Dr. Trono very unsympathetic to my needs and not well informed about required blood tests.

My husband & I faced the most terrifying moment in our 37 years: being apart for the first time AND not knowing what my surgery would reveal. I'd been stripped & scrubbed, shaved & sterilized, stuck & prepped. The other 2 surgeons, anesthesiologist, OR staff all came to introduce themselves & their team, scrubbed & ready to go. They asked questions & ensured & reassured us & answered all our questions. After the OR team made inquiries re the "hold up" Dr. Trono arrived in street clothes, barely acknowledged my husband when I introduced him; was arrogant & condescending when I asked questions re the procedure & gave ME attitude when staff reminded him to "sign my preop body". Post-op I repeatedly asked to speak with Dr. Trono or a member of his team, about the damages and repairs to my bladder. To date I have not heard from the dr or any of his staff. I would not recommend him to anyone for these reasons. It is clearly time for the man to retire before he hurts someone.

Straightforward and friendly. Gave me background information and advice on my issue. Answered all my questions. When I was in the hospital, he came by as a consulting physician and adjusted a procedure ordered by the residents. It saved me a considerable amount of trouble and eased weeks of convalescence.

The Dr is excellent &very thorough and spends lots of time going over your history. I was very happy with him. On the other hand the people who answer the phones are rude, insensitive & generally uncaring. When you schedule an appointment they make it but not for what you were sent there for but, you don't know that until the day U call 4 UR results because Dr told you to call him on a specific day. My Care gave results, sent there 4 cause of FREQUENT UTIs not did I have one. Kidney function????

They are awful at this office... my poor grandfather had to wait five days to be put on an antibiotic for a UTI because they wanted to test for the best one which ended up not working at all... then they were to call in a new antibiotic and it took hours after the visit and was one he was allergic to and our family and pharmacy have been calling for days to get a new prescription called in and they hang up on us and nothing!!! Awful service and my grandfather has gotten worse!!!!
