Dr. Boya is the best internist my husband and myself have ever been to. Thorough. Kind. Listens and explains. Finds the answers or sends to specialist. I would recommend.

Dr. Boya prescribed a dangerous fluoroquinolone antibiotic for a minor uncomplicated chronic infection. She ignored my history of antibiotic reactions and never warned me about the dangers of the drug. I had a severe reaction and now live with chronic tendonopathy. Overnight, I went from being an athlete to struggling just to survive. After the reaction, she could have done the right thing and tried to help me. Instead, I became a problem she wished would just go away. She rushed our appointments and played down my situation. Her ignorance about the drug was unfortunate, but how she handled the situation afterwards was just plain heartless.
