Dr. Guoli Johnston, MD

I was unlucky to have her as my OB to deliver my first baby. She never spoke directly to me except to threaten me with a C section. Never addressed my birth plan, did not discuss HER plan with me. Ordered pit and manual breaking of waters without my consent. Did a terrible job suturing my vaginal and urethral tears. She, alone, was the single worst part of my entire birth experience (which was overall good due to excellent nurses and partner).

My wife had a horrible experience with Dr. Johnston. She's not patient at all. She came late on every visit and behaved as if she was super busy and never had time for my wife's questions and concerns. All my wife's appointments with her were stressful and full of negativity. Every time my wife would cry afterward. On the last visit, she even asserted that my wife is hard to have a baby and could have endometrial cancer without doing any test first. And she said she was not professional in PCOS and refuse to continue helping my wife. Why on earth didn't she say she was not professional on our first visit and wasted months of our lifetime. And we had to pay for her helpless but desperate appointment. I would give her 0 star if the website allow so.

She was rude, didn't listen to my concerns and spoke to me like I was stupid. Told me that my pcp (who is now out of my network) and the obgyn who placed my iud waere both wrong and that it doesn't need to be changed for 2 more years. Got a second opinion and an actual diagnosis regarding my concerns and a new iud since it was time for it to be replaced. Would never recommend her to my worst enemy.

I had horrible experience with Dr. Johnston. I was trying to get pregnant that time she used to come late and behave as if she doesn’t have any time for us. On asking any questions she used to ask us to google them. Why would I come to you if I have google it? All my appointments with her were so stressful and full of negativity. I wasted my initial few months with her but fortunately one fine day I decided to change my doctor and that was the best decision of my life. My new doctor was really nice and she addressed all our concerns and guided me really well as a result I’m blessed with 2 kids. When you’re trying to get pregnant all you need is some positivity and good consultation and these two things are missing with this Doctor. I would like to rate her zero.

This doctor has little patient when I visited her recently. She hasn't fully understood my concerns yet before jumped quickly on some expensive procedures she's known about. Even after I mentioned that I had bad experience with that she still tried to persuade instead of trying effort to find alternative options. When her diagnosis has not been finished and I was still talking to her, her nurse knocked on the door then she told me she has spent too much time on me and thus need to leave in 2 minutes with a rush summary, which is so unprofessional. But in reality I was in her office for just about 15 minutes and she hasn't attentively understood my situation yet and even hasn't asked my past records and family history etc. I was so shocked with her rude attitude and I have never met an impatient doctor like her so far. First time and last time I will be seeing this doctor and possibly any doctors in Evergreen.

This is the worst doctor you can possibly find... Not only she is rude and unprofessional, but also she will keep telling you the fact she is the doctor and you are not so you need to stop asking questions and let her talk?! Oh she will also tell you how much it is going to cost to see her which is $300. So insulting that she was trying to imply that we couldn’t afford seeing her and told us to go home find a local doctor since “it’s very expensive in the US”. She genuinely doesn’t care about the patient and she doesn’t even has basic respect to her patients! It is really unbelievable for how rude and arrogant she sounds and how much she just wanted to rush you out! Please don’t waste your time and money to see her. Dr. Johnston shouldn’t even be qualify to be a doctor since the only thing she does is to insult her patient.

I would never recommend Dr. Guoli Johnston because not only she is very rude. She does not care for her patient. I met her for the first time for a consultation and we agree to do blood test and ultrasound at the same day. So the scheduling lady walked in and schedule them for me. But she told me differently said we cannot do the blood test the same day. So i went ahead and schedule it at the soonest time. After my ultrasound was done she walked out and talked to me. She goes "I told you to get your blood test today why didn't you? If you dont listen to me i will dismiss you. I do not have time to deal with patient like you. " She also said some other thing about my health that made me feel very bad I walked out the clinic with tears.

Guoli is rude and arbitrary. She doesn’t even know profession. When I visited her to ask if I can do laparoscopy, she said it is not covered by my insurance. If she knows it is not covered by my insurance, why does she ask me to visit her? Except for asking me to pay for the bill, what does she do? Actually, when I double check with my insurance , the surgery is covered. I just experienced a miscarriage, she doesn’t even know the reason but blame all the failure to my egg quality. How dare she?

I recently came in for a consult and later surgery. While I understand that some people have language barrier issues I felt comfortable with her. I wanted a tubal, while she felt I was young and gave me other options she still listened and understood. I was schedule for surgery within a few weeks and the day of surgery she came to talk to me, review the consent, the procedure, went over all of my incision sites and aftercare instructions. My incision are minuscule and I feel great!

I got pregnant just one month after my miscarriage. I was worried about my baby. Dr.Johnston took good care of my and conduct C-section for me. She is progressional and detail-oriented.

We had a difficult pregnancy. Another Doctor who would not take our case, referred us to Dr. Johnston. She was thorough and explained with great detail our pregnancy. I don't think we realized at first how serious of an issue we were in. It was Dr. Johnston who explained, and cared for us. We now have a healthy boy.
