Worst Doctor
The recent reviews are all correct in saying this doctor spent a total of 10 minutes at my mother’s new patient appointment, discussing her history, dismissing our concerns, interrupting me as I spoke, and telling me that “if she’s survived 15 years with this pain she can wait 4 more months to see me again.” In all my time going to specialist appointments, I have never once encountered a doctor as unprofessional and rude as Dr. Saleem. I definitely do not recommend her at all

Worst dr ive ever had
First visit went okay. I showed her I had a permanently swollen knuckle and an MRI of my wrist that said it was inflamed. She said she agreed it was swollen and did a bunch of bloodwork. It all came back normal. and my second visit was telehealth because I live an hour away from her and she was like everythings normal no need to come back. and i was like What about my permanently swollen knuckle? and she said I didnt note any swelling so you dont need to come back but if your dr thinks you do then he can refer you back to me. I will not be going back to her.

NOT GOING TO DR SALEEM AGAIN – Nov 08, 2024

Disappointed
My "new patient" visit with this doctor lasted about five minutes. She was more interested in my history than my current concerns and asked me very few questions about either. She seemed preoccupied and not at all interested in anything I had to say. I've been treated by many rheumatologists over several years of moving around the country, and Dr. Saleem was by far the most uncaring and unconcerned doctor I have ever encountered. My first appointment with her was also my last. I believe that with RA and lupus the doctor-patient relationship is vital to getting and staying well. It would be very difficult to develop any such relationship with Dr. Saleem.

Great place to go if you don't care about the care
Took over two weeks to finally get someone at the office to get an appointment scheduled, and then waited another 2 mos to get in. As a first time new patient she spent a total of 10 mins with me. There were no other patients in the waiting area, so she did not have a backlog of people to see. She just didn't want to see any. She asked me three questions and interrupted my answers for each. Came across as not interested in truly caring about the patient history or my health goals. Would not provide medical details when I wanted specific information comparing TNF & JAK biologics. A patient has the right to know this information. The doctor has the responsibility to provide the information. It is not an option. I knew as I walked out of the office that there was no way I would return, and that my search for a rheumatologist needed to be directed elsewhere. Worst medical appointment that I ever had.

I have seen Dr. Saleem for a little over 2 years. After experiencing a debilitating bout of pain and stiffness that could not be ascribed to any cause, even with bloodwork, a diagnosis of RA and treatment began. My symptoms went away and we have begun to reduce the meds with the goal of stopping altogether. Over time, Dr. Saleem has warmed to me as a patient, for which I am pleased, but most of all I appreciate her expertise and the result she has helped me to achieve.

Terrible. No help after seeing her for a few years. She doesn't do any clinical diagnosis only look for lab work. Even when lab work was abnormal she didn't give a diagnosis. Which is terrible for someone suffering from all these autoimmune symptoms.

I would never recommend Dr. Saleem- On my first visit, she was cold to the point of being rude. She was curt and asked questions from a computer screen, typed in the answers and never once looked at me. When I asked a question, it was as if it was too much trouble for her to answer. Care and concern, nonexistent! I will never go back to her.

Dr. Saleem is efficient, focused and attentive to detail. There was a time I didn't want to take a particular medication of mine, but she was insistent. I'm thankful every day for that. My mind had become confused... due to the lack of the medication she prescribed. I'll never take her expertise for granted.
