Skeptical until he pulled off the surgery
We were skeptical about this doctor, because the delay for my husband’s cancer surgery was unnecessary. Further, getting anything done by his front office staff is nearly impossible. Nonetheless, my husband was an EXTREMELY HIGH RISK surgery due to his heart disease. The kidney tumor had to be extracted before the hart bypass was feasible. Dr Patino and his team pulled it off. I’m serious when I am saying that there was a distinct possibility of my husband going into cardiac arrest, or succumbing to the anesthesia. Patino went from Zero to Hero!

Bad Doctor
Telehealth
In January of this year I visited Dr. Patiño and it was a tremendous surprise, his unprofessionalism, both he and his team of secretaries or nurses, scheduled me an appointment for surgery, I showed up and he canceled it on the same day of my appointment. He scheduled me I had an appointment the next day and the same thing happened. They denied it because it was the last day of my insurance and they were worried because the insurance was not going to pay for the surgery when it was my last day of my insurance that did cover me. They did not want to operate on me. and I wasted my time. and days of work totally a Dr who doesn't care about anything and zero EthicsIn January of this year I visited Dr. Patiño and it was a tremendous surprise, his unprofessionalism, both he and his team of secretaries or nurses, scheduled me an appointment for surgery, I showed up and he canceled it on the same day of my appointment. Excellent doctor
I had been seeing another urologist for the last 4 years. After two prostate biopsies; first one was routine and the second invasive. The problem has persisted another two years. I was referred to Dr. Patino and he ordered a specific MRI and diagnosed the problem in no time. I am scheduled for surgery on May 20th and look forward to a successful recovery. He rocks! :-)

Dr patinoe is an adequate surgeon
Telehealth
After having done surgery his office would not return my calls over an infection their own office listed that I had for more than a week. When I did hear back from his nurse, she insisted that the urine test that said I had an infection was not a real infection, and involved a 'multiplicity of bacteria' and therefore could not be treated. She also informed me that he had refilled a prescription for pain pills but it was the last time, as if I had been just drug seeking when I called saying I felt a awful, clearly had a bad UTI, and smelled like something had died in me. I was so sick, but they would not even entertain the possibility that I was legitimately ill with the horrid bladder infection I clearly had. My primary was out of town for almost another week. I waited for him. by that time I was so sick with the 'multiplicity of bacteria' that I was in early sepsis and needed to be hospitalized for days with IV drugs. What complicated drug was it I needed? Amoxicillin.

A backstabbing liar
Been seeing Dr. Patino,Guillermo for maybe 4 years. Treated a biopsy. I have ongoing problems he was treating me for. He dismissed me for reasons not given. He cheery picks his patients. Im being BLACKLISTED because maybe a rude staff member said something. They can say anything to get you dismissed. So its a he said she said if she said bad behavior. So staffers have this much power. Alot of posts here say staffers are rude so im assuming this. If your dismissed you should be given a reason. If you were also dismissed please contact me. Numerous complaints get results.

This guy is Outstanding!
Dr. Patino performed my Prostatectomy. He explained every aspect of the procedure and did an excellent job. He listened to my concerns and I feel he truly cares! He placed my health and well-being as a #1 priority above all else. He gave me his personal cell phone number to call anytime day or night (who does that)! Outstanding is how I would describe the service he provides.

God Sent
Couldn’t hope for a better doctor to be with when you first hear the words, “You have cancer.” Dr Patino thoroughly explained my type of cancer and my options moving forward. He performed my nephrectomy and I was walking a few hours after. 3 years later and I am cancer free. I actually look forward to my 6 month visits. You couldn’t find a more competent and compassionate doctor if you tried!

Absolutely worst doctor I have ever been to who speaks over you while you're trying to explain and the problem and is hostile. Did not care about anything except what he can sell. Tried to sell a $3,000 procedure

Doctor Patino is an excellent physician who appears to know what he is speaking of. He has an excellent bed side manner. I would heartily recommend Dr. Patino as a great Urologist. His office is a three ring circus. You will rarely get a call back. THIS IS NOT THE DOCTOR. You will wait around, bring a book and dont bother talking to any of the admin staff behind the counter, assuming they actually address you. Once Patino and his assistant are present, all changes. I only hope that the process can be addressed.

Worst DR EVER! Told my husband he had Kidney Cancer. Told me it was slow growing NOTHING to worry about. My gut told me different and we went to a specialist. This specialist said he was INCORRECT and scheduled my husband for surgery right away! Dr Patino after 10 days hadnt even bothered to call our ins co to help us get an MRI. Good thing i followed my gut instinct! Thanks for nothing Dr. My husband could have died for all you cared!

Excellent! He diagnosed my prostate cancer, explained all options available, was educational and empathetic during the process. He performed my surgery and has worked with me every step of the way. He is professional while remaining caring and concerned. An amazing doctor who is caring and takes the time you need to understand what is going on with your health issues.

Dr. Patino has been my Renal Kidney Dr./Surgeon for 3.5 years. during that time, he has diagnosed and treated my medical issues in an outstanding manner. His interpersonal communications skills are impeccable. His surgical skills are also outstanding. His follow-up and explaining medical conditions are fantastic qualities. Dr. Patino will be departing the USN Hospital in Pensacola soon. I will sorely miss him. I will gladly recommend Dr. Patino and friends and family

Outstanding in every way! Thoroughly and patiently explains every aspect, issue, procedure, test, medication, etc.; then attentively listens to explore and consider any/all treatment options. Never feel rushed. Very personable, compassionate. I had seen 3 other Urologists over the past 5 years and received little to no help. Dr Patino was far more thorough and aware. He ran more and different tests. Increased dosage on 1 medicine, then added an entirely new one. IT WORKED! Huge improvement!!
