I went to this doctor for years!!
Dr. Bohm was direct and didn’t feel it was necessary to blow sunshine !If you are going to him, you have issues and need to address them.. not stick your head in the sand! I appreciate his candidness and his support! When I was very sick- he knew and never hesitated to get me treated immediately.. I appreciated him very much and would recommend him all day long!

Dr. Bohm may come across as rude but he can certainly take one look at you and determine without even reviewing your chart almost to a T what's the matter - he was 100% on point with me. He saved my life. I owe Dr. Bohm & the Nurse Practitioner who first picked up on the dangerous signs of Grave's disease. My first impression was to walk out but see, these geniuses have the WORST bedside manner attached to the BEST brain. And so I chilled in my chair as much as one could while under full blown undiagnosed Grave's disease wanting to choke this guy in front of me... and gave him a shot. Again, Dr. Bohm SAVED MY LIFE when I was 100% alone. I am going back to get treated again under his care because since I was treated by Dr. Bohm, I've bounced around doctors and different doses & types of meds. Dr. Bohm will straighten me out the old school way with his South American mannerism that unless you're from South America, you'll never understand. He is RAW. Viva Argentina! Viva Chile!

After nearly a year of multiple drs telling me “it’s anxiety. It’s all in your head.” dr. Bohm is the first doctor to tell me “of course it’s stress/anxiety - You have hyperthyroidism”. Validating my gut KNOWING others drs dismissed. The first dr. to tell me flat out “consider your husband in all of this”. I have never seen a dr acknowledge him - Dr. Bohm spoke to my husband as much as he did me. Explained our options to us. He’s also very visual & draws which helps us spatial thinkers. Love him

He was an excellent doctor. He is the only doctor who helped me lose weight. His protocol of HRT was highly effective in helping me return to myself after menopause. Other doctors wasted my time and money on therapies that did not work for weight loss and hormone treatments.

Dr. Bohm has been my endocrinologist for 9 years. Easily, he's been the best one. He's knowledgeable about the symptoms, test ranges, side effects, and treatments... MUCH better than other endocrinologists I'd previously used. I'm so thankful for his support & compassion, in addition to his obvious knowledge of thyroid issues. He definitely looks beyond the test numbers, and has been so helpful in addressing my symptoms. I have 100% trust in him and plan to keep him.

I would not necessarily recommend doctor bohm to my friends, unless they were already in the medical field and are used to doctors. Dr. Bohm and I had a rough first 10 minutes of arguing with each other, but once he understood what I was asking for and that I had done research into the subject, he ended up agreeing with me. This was one of the strangest doctors visits I have ever had, yet doctor bohm is the first endocrinologist yet to prescribe me the medication I wanted. Happy with it.

Just saw Dr Bohm for the first time and would highly recommend him. He is a no nonsense Dr. who explained everything to me in very simple terms. He spent a great deal of time with me and answered any and all questions I had.

This provider has no manners at all, as a first time patient, he walked in to the room and said "what are you doing here?" Didn't bother to introduce himself or greet in any way. Then he changed medications so drastically that I passed out that night, luckily my wife found me. Called the office the next morning and was told "someone" would call me back and never received a call. Called my PCP the next day and had my Doctor on the phone speaking with me within an hour. Will never return to him!

Total jerk. Rude and arrogant. Thinks because he is the doctor he can talk down to people and be a jerk. I don't see why it's necessary to call people fat and other names and make them feel small.

Looking for a common sense doctor? And you really want to hear the truth? Well that would be this guy. Some people take offense at his directness, but it's refreshing to me after seeing so many doctors that just couldn't help. Great listener, no nonsense, friendly staff, knows his stuff.

Dr. Bohm is an excellent doctor. I had complete faith in his care. He is also the only one who understood my struggle with losing weight (I do not have a thyroid due to cancer). He really listens to his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Bohm if you are looking for an Endocrinologist.

What a jerk. Never in my life treated so poorly. Doesn't even comprehend dangers of certain medicines with patient history. Amazed he even maintains a license. Wonder how many times he's been sued??? Rude, obnoxious. Don't waste your money if you expect ANY quality of care. Too bad I couldn't leave 0 stars!

I would not recommend Dr. Bohm for any fellow type 1 diabetics. He was callous and rude. He made comments about my lifestyle that were in no way related to diabetes at all (insulting my profession). His office would constantly say they'd have a nurse call me back and I never once heard back from them. I was seen twice and both times I was treated poorly. I was told to not even bother coming in unless my A1C changed (it had but they don't take A1Cs here). Steer clear.

I've been under the care of an endocrinologist for many years for hypothyroidism. During this 2 decade period of time, I've seen 3 doctors. Dr. Bohm is not a touchy feely doctor. He does not sugar coat. What he does do is provide good care. That is what I require. I would, and have, recommend Dr. Bohm to as a knowledgeable, quick thinking physician and trustworthy physician.

Front staff was unprofessional. Dr Bohm, confrontational & rude. He wanted to know why I was there. I told him my PCP referred. He said "yea Dr.s refer when they don't have the guts to tell Pt's themselves". I said I have high BS & A1c. He said 3X "stop eating". He recommended insulin. The nurse was suppose to teach me how to use, she did quickly & said "instructions are in the box". I asked what to do if blood sugar gets too low. She said I should take 1/2 of what Dr said. What? I cried.

This physician would give Doc Martin (of PBS fame) a run for his money with regard to patient courtesy. He was arrogant and insulting. I was told that I was fat, stupid, and ignorant. When I gave him a shot of his own medicine, he was shocked that I insulted him. He picked on the wrong guy. At the end of the visit, he and his assistant tried to set up a follow-up visit in six months. I told them that there will be no follow-up. DON'T EVER GO TO THIS GUY!!
