Dr. Guido Torres, MD

I found Dr Torres through other people that have been to him. I had a prolapsed bladder and needed surgery. Dr Torres has performed this operation numerous times. He listened to my concerns, answered all of my questions. Performed my surgery and follow up care. His staff was very nice and professional. I highly recommend Dr Torres.

Honest, informative, and great bedside manner regarding procedures and birth of multiple family members, including my own.

Dr. Torres has been my obgyn doctor since 2008 he has delivered 4 of my babies and all c sections. He is an amazing person and doctor. He has saved a few lives I also know. I think he is #1 doctor in our town.

Been going to him for years. There was a mass. He explained all possible scenarios and answered all questions. Even wouldn't release me to go back to work when I thought I was ready, but he was correct - I wasn't.

I needed an appointment and Dr. Torres was the first available. I made my appointment and then he changed my prescription without ever seeing me. During my first and only appointment, this doctor had terrible bedside manner. He made a wildly inappropriate comment. He did not follow what I have always understood to be typical procedure to maintain respect and distance from a patient, by adjusting the chair/covering of the patient. He did not answer my questions clearly. And made recommendations that did not make sense nor align with common practice.

Dr. Torres has always been good to me. He goes above and beyond to help me. He makes me laugh and has truly been my favorite OB ever. He always asks how I am and takes extra time to cover all my concerns and or questions. You can’t go wrong with this OB.

He’s the best doctor, I recommend everyone to him. He’s helped me VBAC twice successfully. He’s kind and patient and knowledgeable. His staff was always great and timely

I needed a LEEP procedure that had to be done by Dr. Torres. Both of my lab results done with APN Knapp came back as PREcancer. Dr. Torres told me in my pre-op appointment that it was in fact cancer. He seemed to enjoy telling me that I had cancer and was not comforting when I was obviously upset. When I went back for my post-op appointment, he tells me that he got all of the "cancer," but in the small chance of it coming back that I should get a hysterectomy. My health was a cruel joke to him

Dr. Torres is unkind and not worthy of your time.. I would find someone else to see. My husband and I found out our baby had no heartbeat and he sent us back into the general waiting area for 15 mins instead of putting us back in a room to grieve and then said "this is what I expected." No one should expect someone healthy to lose a child. He never comforted us in any way. It was beyond hurtful.

I've been a patient of Dr Torres for over 13 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. He takes his time to listen me even if it's about my crazy dog. Once I had a bad result on a test. Dr. Torres called me personally to tell me the results and plan a course of action. He truly is one of the best doctors in Vegas.
