What brings us to the ER is unpleasant, and sometimes the best we can hope for is “well it’s not this.” But sometimes that’s great, and that was my case today. Though the ER was swamped and Dr Z was alone in tending to the patients, his patience and time were duly noted and appreciated. He was thoughtful in addressing additional ways to help me due to how I had been feeling, and I never felt spoken down to. I was not thrilled with waiting hours for any care at all in my room, I believe it was 3-4 hours before an IV was started for possible kidney infection (ruled out), which could easily have been dehydration instead. Doctor did not confirm laterality of location in question. Visit was never billed, and have heard from the office he is very behind on documentation. That is very concerning for patient care/wellbeing.

He was a very pleasant part of a very bad day. I came in very stressed and hurting. He fixed my medical problem and I went home with a smile on my face. Thank you Dr. Zandrow!!!!
