Dr. Gregory Tiesi, MD

Dr Teasi created a stoma, ostomy for me while I was receiving chemo and he did the resection of the small intestine when I didn't need the stoma anymore. Dr Teasi made a miserable situation so much better by being so attentive. He's very straight-forward & answered all my questions even before I knew to ask. I was not an easy patient, got deathly ill, once to the point of needing to be intubated & losing several days to sepsis. I certainly wasn't an easy patient. Through it all, he remained informed about all my treatment -- more informed than I was at times. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon for my treatment.

UPDATE: This incompetent gave my father the wrong cancer diagnosis. I brought my dad to RWJ and they said they can shrink his cancer and this dingbat gave him the wrong diagnosis...without chemo.She and Tiesi said the only thing would work would be heavy chemo that would likely end his life and he should go to hospice.If you get a cancerous tick bite (hyperbole), don't go to the doctor, not even for a band-aid. At the very least, her messaging is off by light years.

I am forever grateful to Dr Tiesi and his team for a successful liver resection and billiary duct repair. It may be 'all in a day's work to them', but it was a risky, life-saving event for me. Surgery lasted nearly 5 hours, followed by a 7-day hospital stay. Despite a long list of possible post-op complications, I suffered none of them. For this, I further credit the talents of Dr Tiesi and, overall, am pleased and confident in recommending him to others.
