This doctor is a fantastic dermatologist that really cares about his patients and spend time with them. I would highly recommend him to anybody. His prices are reasonable and his staff is very friendly.

I had an appointment in October 2019, paid my balance in full. My account was sent to a collection agency in February of 2020. There billing department must not know what they are doing or just greedy for more money from patients since they only take cash or checks and insurance. Needless to say very disappointed.

Dr. Thompson is a terrific dermatologist and on the surface seems to be a fine fella. However, during my next to last appointment with him, he mentioned that my insurance carrier had not paid him for a prior procedure. Concerned about that and in good faith I contacted my insurance company to inquire about that. I was told that the claim had never been filed by Dr. Thompson’s office. So, during my follow up appointment, I shared that information with him. He stepped out of the examination room and spoke with a member of his office staff. He immediately advised me that he intended to cease accepting my insurance and had his staff charge me full price for the last procedure performed. I suggested that it would be difficult for me to pay full price for his work in future. In a very dismissive manner, he said “Well go find someone who accepts your insurance (Humana, by the way) it’s been good treating you”. I had been a loyal patient for many years. Read into that what you will.

My toe is completely healed. Even the redness is gone. Last weekend I thought I would need one more treatment. I’m now taking anti-inflammation joint supplements for the arthritis. Hopefully, they will help for the future. My sister-in-law called. I told her about the abscess on my toe. She said my two nieces (one in Houston, one here) had the same problem. They both went to a podiatrist and they both had surgery, one three weeks ago and the other two weeks ago. Both are still in pain from the operation. I told her you had cured mine by freezing it & NO pain. I gave her your name in case they have a recurrence. Thank you for taking such good care of both of us over these many years.

Was in San Antonio for a work trip (I live in Dallas) & needed a dermatologist for a skin infection I had developed somehow while I was there (don't ask me, I'm not a doctor). I was referred to this doctor by a work colleague who is from SA and had been seeing this physician since he was a kid. What a breath of fresh air this office was relative to my own dermatology office in Dallas! He's the epitome of what medicine used to be like 25 years ago. Single provider office with reasonable prici

I recently returned to see Dr. Thompson after not needing a dermatologist for well over 15 years. While his office staff is unorganized (excluding his nurse); Dr. Thompson is a great dermatologist! Was very surprised that he called to check on me tonight!

I'll get right to the point !! I had a little surgery where I was impressed with the care of Dr. Thompson and his team. A few hours later I got a call from Dr. Thompson that he wanted to know how I was doing.
