No follow through
Dr. Spielbauer requested an x-ray on my foot at yesterday’s appointment. Results came back at 9:30 from Radiology.At my 8:45 appointment he said nurse would call me with results in afternoon. Never heard back. Left Dr. Spielbauer message on my chart at 2:00. After not hearing anything I called clinic at 4:50 last night & was told Dr. Spielbauer would call me last night.Never heard from him. Called back this morning. A nurse called me back and basically said I had a broken toe. No big deal.I asked her about possible fracture line extending to articular surface.She had no idea what that meant and said Dr. Spielbauer would call me even though he typically doesn’t call patients. Nurse called at 12:30 to say he didn’t know how to proceed & wanted me to see an orthopedic specialist.I asked nice nurse why he didn’t call yesterday with results.I could possibly seen specialist today.Her response was she’d been working on this an hour basically I should be grateful she was doing her job.Pitiful

Dr. Spielbauer was my doctor from 2010-2013. I thought he was great!! I left Wisconsin in 2013 and, obviously, have a different physician.
