If I can explain where the pain is, he'll still confirm before treating. He has been consistently working with my stenosis that gives me confidence in results and better health.

No Nonsense Caring Doctor
Dr Slagle is an amazing doctor. He is compassionate and empathetic. He is very serious about his profession and will tell you like it is. He does not coddle and has a no nonsense approach, but his knowledge, experience and care made him a great choice for me! Thanks for your care Dr Slagle!

Highly recommend
Dr Slagle is very kind and goes out of his way to explain things related to my pain and the procedures. I went from being barely active to doing pretty much what I want and I'm so thankful.

I'm an Air Force retiree with 33 yrs active duty. There is very little middle ground in these ratings, and I believe this is because of an office issue. Dr. Slagle is a nice guy...a bit angry and rough around the edges, but if you get an opportunity to speak with him, he's caring. However, if you are not friends with the coven of witches in the front office, led by the top witch his wife as "office manager", you are treated like a methadone clinic homeless drug addict and get no access to Dr. Slagle. Believe me, or not, I don't care. I left this office after almost a year of treatment, and now I'm getting professional treatment at the Pain Treatment Center of America. Its amazing how much more professional the whole organization is, and the nurses are RNs, not CNAs, providing the care. I must repeat, if you are not in the favor of the coven of witches ruining Dr. Slagle's business, then it's a terrible place to get treatment. Good luck, and best wishes.

All this negative comments is surprising. I ve seen him for years & the first pain Dr that help me with numerous issues. It doesn’t bother me to see the nurse that helps on answers as I know gives him more time to accept new patients and help more people that way. He is always available if I need specifically see him on matter though. They are great to schedule your return to keep prescriptions going -however if you need cancel then you have to accept time available. martha S.

After the doctor’s procedure didn’t work on the second visit, I never saw him again, though i’ve Been going monthly for a year. I had to reschedule an appointment with the nurse, who I see now instead of a doctor, because my husband’s appointment for a radium treatment was changed in Little Rock. I was leaving town in 3 days and needed a refill on my pain meds. No one could schedule a stupid 5 minute meeting with someone so that I could get my refill before leaving town. Uncaring.

I found me a doc;He didn’t have a lot of stars around him. But it’s hard to find a good doc! Right!Well I went anyway ok the place didn’t look so hot on the outside.I ventured in, clean, pleanty of seating, I signed in. Then 30 to 45 min later I’m called in. The staff, starting w/Lauren was unbelievable, they were all so nice, Kim too; the pa.He was awesome. He did something most docs don’t do. He listened. I won the lottery. I left knowing I was in good hands. Ty Dr. Slagle, ty staff, ty God!

I have worked at Dr. Slagle's office for over two years now. Dr. Slagle and his wife, Sally have taken me as well as the other staff members in and treated us like we are part of their family. For someone to imply that staff is leaving because they can not stand Dr. Slagle or Sally is completely FALSE!!! As for patient satisfaction, people who are unhappy are quick to leave negative reviews. If all the patients that had positive experiences left reviews this would be flooded with praise.

I have been to many doctors before finding Dr. Slagle. He actually listened to my problems and found a solution. I have read his negative responses and they are FAR FROM UNTRUE! Being a patient in the office you also get to observe some of the other patients. Listening to the rude arrogant demanding people that want to write negative comments is unfair. IF you are looking for a real doctor then you will love Dr. Slagle as well as his staff.

Horrible uncaring doctor who's has a huge god complex. Unprofessional, uncaring, coward. He sends nurses in to tell you answers rather than come in himself. I have never in my life been treated so crummy by someone I was paying to help me. You see him at first then you just see the nurse or sometimes the person who takes your bp when you come in. He throws tantrums using foul language and you can hear it from every patient room. He would have zero patients if people had another option.

The most uncaring doctor I have ever seen. He throws little cussing tantrums down the hallways like a badly behaved toddler. And should you ever question him, beware, he doesn't have enough guts to speak to you like a human being, you will get a registered letter saying you are terminated. His wife is no better. She is rude and hateful as well. What a perfect couple to work in the same office. And expect new staff every time you go for an appt, because no one can stand either of them.

Procedures went fine but they would not see me after a car accident involving liability insurance. When that was settled and I tried to come back to their clinic they were very rude - even after I posted a message saying what a good doctor Slagle was. He is not certified in pain management, but he was caring and listened to concerns - and did not expect you to undergo neck injections without anesthesia, as some do. In the end they were not caring at all and refused service. Bad experience.
