Dr. Gregory Pluckhan, DDS

I'm difficult to numb and told Dr Pluckhan so. First shot somewhat painful and did nothing. Second shot was supposed to last for 6 hours. HURT! Anyway, it numbed my gum up long enough to pull the teeth but was gone within the hour. It never numbed my lips or tongue. Intense PAIN from the shot. I have allergies, could not use the stuff they wanted to apply to my gums before the shot. I sincerely doubt that would have alleviated the pain anyway. The office was spotless; the staff were very friendly. So if I ever need another tooth pulled, I will return. I will be prepared for pain.

In my recent experience with Dr. Pluckhan, he is rude, condescending, demeaning and dismissive. I would NEVER recommend anyone see him for dental care.

Both of my children (ages 18 and 21) had wisdom teeth removed same day. My daughter did not go under anesthesia and although the wisdom tooth was by a nerve, it did hurt but Dr. Pluckhan was very gentle with her. She was frightened but he reassured consistently and helped calm her nerves! My son with special needs (Autistic/Deaf/Non-Verbal) had all four impacted. He was sedated for the procedure . We have been hesitant about this procedure for years but knew it had to be done. Dr. Pluckhan listened to our concerns and was very patient with him. We told him our worry was the aftercare and he constantly reassured us about him being there and that was an on-call doctor. Usually our son gets sick with anesthesia but he came out if his procedure beautifully!

Dr. Pluckhan has taken out my wisdom teeth, my husband's wisdom teeth and now my daughter's wisdom teeth, he is honest and so friendly. He is really the best at what he does and truly cares about his patients !

The experience started when i was referred by Dr Gary Jones years back. Simply put, I don't have enough set of teeth in my mouth to say all the Adjectives that represent how awesome he treats his patients from beginning to end of treatment...at least from my perspective. He is So good that now my kids are seeing him and he hasn't change a bit! Treating everyone with his passion, care, and respect for this field and it only shows even more when he speaks.
