AVOID this dr!!
Came to Dr. Pistone with a skin concern and told him my history with it, as well as the issue I was having with my current medication. His response?'Ok. So what do you want to do?'What the f??? You're the doctor!!!I responded in utter bamboozlement. I don't know, maybe a different medication? A different strength? How am I supposed to know????'Oh, you want your medication at a different strength? Higher or lower?'Excuse me????He then proceeded to prescribe me the same medication I was on at a lower strength, after _I_ suggested doing so, giving me absolutely zero original insight on anything I said. I left feeling even more confused than when coming in, both about my skin and about how this man ever got a medical license. AVOID this excuse of a 'doctor' like the plague.

Not responsive or did not discuss the condition
I visited Dr. Pistone for my skin condition, I though the being such a senior doctor he will explain me more about my skin condition and advice me on the needed presciption. But he just saw my skin and said you got to live with and did not explain or details what care should be taken.

Barely talked
I thought he’s either on drugs or has dementia. Barely spoke to me. And forgot to call my prescription into the pharmacy. I’d give zero stars if I could. Go someplace else.

Avoid the Doctor!
I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Dr. Pistone. From the very start, he was dismissive and condescending. I came in with genuine concerns about my skin, but Dr. Pistone hardly listened and quickly brushed me off. After a rushed examination, he diagnosed me with a cyst and bluntly told me there was nothing I could do about it and that I’d just have to live with it. No discussion of options, no explanation, and certainly no compassion. His tone made me feel like my concerns were insignificant, and I left the office feeling more anxious than when I came in.The lack of empathy and professionalism was astonishing. When you go to a doctor, you expect them to listen and provide some level of care, but Dr. Pistone made it clear that he had no interest in either. If you're looking for a dermatologist who actually takes the time to listen and treat you with respect, do yourself a favor and avoid Dr. Pistone.

Inattentive and Rushed
My appointment was for a skin issue that I was incredibly concerned about. The intake nurse spent more time with me than the doctor! He came in the office, hardly looked at my concern, and diagnosed it as if I should have known it myself. I had to ask questions repeatedly to get any information out of him, as if him just looking at the issue was what I came in for. He offered no suggestions or explanations into his diagnosis and told me to have a good day. I left more confused than I was when I arrived and am left to do my own research into his diagnosis. I have never felt so unheard. It truly seemed like it was a bother to this man that I was there.

Moved, so set up visit for mole check and to get opinion on upper lip red tissue that wouldn’t go away after three years. The man didn’t speak. Literally. Had to continually prod him with questions about my lip. Didn’t read my three years of files I brought with me. It was as if he was zoned out. At the end he never told me what he thought it might be but simply said, I have some ideas. Prescribed a cream that was weaker then previous dermatologist had tried and that did nothing. If he’d read my file, he’d have known it was a waste of time. Find anyone else for dermatology.

I found Dr. Pistone to be an excellent physician and his team was very professional and performed with excellence during my FUE Hair Replacement. Prior to my hair replacement, I was depressed about losing my hair and considered just keeping my head shaved. I'm glad I choose hair replacement. I had 2000 grafts performed and now six months later my hair is still growing thicker and I can finally enjoy the weekends without hiding my hair loss without wearing a baseball cap. I highly recommend him.

He was absolutely disgusting. He prescribed a steroid ointment , it peeled my skin off so I called to make an appointment to have him see it and the front desk ladies said “dr pistone said we can’t schedule you an appointment then hung up” I called again and they said your case is to complex go somewhere else but he didn’t even see what my face looked like. It was so messed up , they were so rude

Had an FUE transplant procedure. Stay as far away from this place as possible! The practice is borderline illegal - his assistants do all the work. He pops in every now and then, but does nothing. I ended up with pluggy hair, spaced far apart and growing in the wrong directions. The hairline was also rounded and looks very unnatural. I have since gone to a reputable practice to have this repaired. I was told the previous work I had done would have even been a terrible result 20 years ago.

I would not recommend this doctor to anyone! Had an appointment for over 2 months and was informed the appointment would be canceled for surgery. Doctor's have surgery days and office days. Called the office for a better explanation and the receptionist said surgeries take precedent to office visits, I am sure it was cosmetic. Then the rude receptionist then told me to find another doctor and hung up the phone, unnecessary. Do NOT waste your time with this doctor.

I wanted to have my eyebrows transplant and he agreed to do it for me and appointment was set until the last minute his assistant called and told me Dr Pistone needs to do 2 procedures on my eyebrow which meant double the price. I was so upset because he seems very professional and kind. Told him about my job experience with plastic surgeon and some other thing, seems friendly and good listener. The price he sets on my eyebrows was $5k and double that price would be absurd for neo graft. Upset

Dr. Pistone is the best. He is a great doctor. I trust him because he is always honest with me and he is always right. Great doctor. He actually cares about his patients and takes great pride in what he does. I have seen a lot of doctors, and he is one of the best. He takes a genuine interest in his patients and loves what he does and is comforting, open and honest. Wouldn't go anywhere else for any of my dermatology needs! a+++++

I just got the Miradry procedure done on 5/3/2016. I just felt the need to let people know what I learned. After having a few consultations I realized that not every place did the tumescent numbing technique. Some places had an aesthetician performing the procedure others had a registered nurse, or Nurse practitioner. What made me decide to use Dr. Pistone was the fact that he was an experienced Doctor that performs the tumescent numbing technique. I'm glad I did. The procedure went very well. H
