My husband called this doctor and got his cell phone number from the Mayo Clinic. He told my husband that he would like to see us, after explaining to him how we were having problems with every pain clinic in WI. We traveled 4 hours each way to see this doctor. I already have an endocrinologist so I didn’t need to see another doctor for diabetes. He concentrated on diabetes instead of my reason to be seen for severe neuropathy pain. I’m in crippling pain daily, since getting myself off of medication like he recommended. I’m now bedridden and have terrible pain and very poor quality of life. Dr. Pheling offered zero compassion and no treatment options to me at all. He seemed to think I was an addict, but I’ve never abused my medicine ever, and came off my pain meds by myself in 3 days time with Zero withdrawal symptoms.
