Dr. Gregory Hanson, DO

Dr. Hanson is very knowledgeable and takes the time to build a rapport with both the child and the parents. We have been with him for going on 3 years and we truly love him. He ALWAYS has your child’s best interest in mind and is very thorough and precise with everything he does. He listens to your concerns and takes his time to make sure he provides the best care for your child. I disagree with the other negative reviews as he is not arrogant but rather warm, welcoming, and funny! We love his character, personality, and the care he provides our two little ones.

We've used Dr. Hanson for the last year and have been impressed by his knowledge and interaction with out children. He helped us identify that our daughter had low white blood cells following multiple thrush occurrences which other doctors had not caught. Additionally, I've appreciated that he is proactive and managing the illness with my doctor and always thinks of our daughter when we visit him for illnesses with our other child or nephew. In reading the other comments, I have not experienced the arrogance mentioned above and his clinic has done a good job of getting us in, even when we were late or missed an appointment.

I hardly ever leave bad reviews when it come to doctors, but when it comes to children I don’t take this behavior lightly. Dr Hanson was the “on call” physician when our pediatrician was out of town. He was extremely rude to me and my daughter. He had an I know it all mentality and a huge ego. He would not stop and listen and refused to take me and my daughters word and medical history into consideration. We ended up going to an urgent clinic to get the correct care. Don’t waste your time with this self righteous man.

Dr Hanson is hands down the absolute greatest pediatrician I could have ever asked for! He is so patient, listens, and will not leave the room until every single question or worry you have is answered! We have never felt uncomfortable around him and he’s always been good at explaining everything to us so we fully understand!

I was looking forward to transitioning my child’s care over to Dr. Hanson, but I couldn’t have been more disappointed! Upon the initial few minutes of our visit, he was extremely arrogant and condescending. More importantly, he didn’t even address my child - the patient. Throughout the entirety of the appointment, he displayed aloofness and simply wanted to demonstrate that he was in charge. Take your child to a different doctor with a better bedside manner, they are definitely out there. Hopefully this is helpful to the next parent.
