Dr. Gregory Gunyan, DO

Dr. Gunyan LISTENS. He does NOT judge. He has extra schooling for organic brain disease in conjunction with psychiatric illness. I have a whole list! Easy to talk with in the 10 min you get to catch up while managing your meds. Which he finally got me on a stable combo, i feel good!!! He works with you on your own mental health because it's not just about the medication. Having FTD, the fact that he had extra schooling in the neurological disease dementias, i knew i found my perfect Dr! Best Psychiatrist I've ever seen..

Dr Gunyan is extremely easy to work with and talk to, very pewrsonable. He is very professional and knowledgeable. He has a very calm demeanor, listens and is very helpful. He also gets back to you right away. I am very satisfied as his patient.

New to the area and called this clowns office to set up an appt at Winthrop. They took all my info and advised the doc will call me as he schedules his own appts. After about 2 weeks I called again. The receptionist told me that she would make sure I was called back. Never heard a thing. Tried another 2 times and nothing. Folks do yourself and don't even bother trying to set something up with this guy. I wasted a good month before going elsewhere. Something is wrong here.

Contacted this doctors office related to Winthrop over at least 5 weeks. His staff would take my info but would never contact me back to confirm an appt. They would tell me that the Dr maintained his own schedule. My advice is to not waste your time with this guy. He probably has too many patients, his staff is inept or he doesn't know how to balance his own schedule all of which should be red flags when trying to find a new Dr.
