excellent care great manners and totally professional

I was told to be at my appointment at 3:20 which I arrived early. He didn't see me until 4:05 by this time I'm in pain from my spine spasms. Before making the final decision to leave and reschedule due to the pain, he walks in and I was in tears. I mentioned not only to the staff but to him as well that I can't sit long before spasming. He comes in and because I asked him questions based on my concerns he was not polite. He mentioned my weight and how losing weight could help my knee. I then said, I use to be 363 lbs and have lost weight down to 243. He says we'll we're not going to talk about that. He was just rude and didn't have patience with me at all. He spoke to me rudely. My husband stepped in to calm the situation by mentioning to him my wife has been through a lot and she's just concerned about her blood work being high. I will never return or recommend this doctor or place at all if this is how doctors like him treat their patients.

Poor bedside manner. No help at all. Very disappointed in this Doctor who had seemingly great reviews.

He was professional and empathetic while explaining and listening. I recommend him highly to everyone that needs a humble star player to schedule an appointment. Simply the best!

Dr.Golladay is a excellent surgeon with a caring personality. He really listens to his patients and conveys information about the hip replacement and the surgery clearly. His team really prepares you with a through joint class so you know what to expect before, during surgery and with recovery. I have a wonderful outcome and am so happy to have a new pain free joint. My quality of life is absolutely so much better and I am very grateful. I recommend Dr. Golladay highly.

I had a full knee replacement surgery by Dr Golladay and received the best medical care from him and his team In my almost 70 years. I was very fearful of the surgery as I had my other knee replaced by a different ortho group ending up with a crooked knock knee and a very difficult recovery. I returned home the evening of my surgery as I had all equipment needed. Dr. Golladay and his entire staff are highly knowledgeable, skilled, thoughtful, personable, caring, and very responsive to pre and post surgery and recovery time questions. They are my cheering squad. Now just 3 months post surgery, I am almost pain free, very mobile, and still gaining toward the mobility and leg strength I had 10+ years ago. The follow-up by Dr. Golladay after my surgery and even now 3 months later is nothing short of a medical miracle. This is the first time in my lifetime I have looked forward to going to see a Doctor and his team. I highly recommend Dr. Golladay and VCUHealth. All my thanks.

Dr Golladay was successful at straightening a very crooked right knee. The surgery results couldn’t have been better. And the hospital care was great too.
