Not pleased
Came way from Va beach cause I heard great reviews about this doctor … wasn’t pleased at all . Great doctor it’s just his timing is never good . I have had 3 surgeries and all of them got changed the day of and one of them I had to leave cause I haven’t ate or anything and been there since 10 am and it was 7 by the time I left no communication or anything . So I will be finding a new doctor that’s more consistent and considerate

Earlier last month I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I don't need to tell you receiving this news was devastating in itself. On my first visit with Dr. Fitzharris his approached was directed but comforting at the same time. He assured me we were going to get through it in which we did. In my opinion he saved my life! If I were to suggest a surgeon with his skills along with a magnificent bedside manner Dr. Fitzharris is that surgeon.

Dr. Fitzharris is the absolute BEST Colorectal Surgeon in the area... reminds me of Dr. Patch Adams. Down to earth and will answer any and all questions with well founded information and more!!! I can’t say enough good about this surgeon! Education, Experience and Empathy! He is the BEST OF THE BEST !!!

Excellence from pre-op instruction, to 7 hours 15 minutes of what must have been an exhausting operation, to post-op in hospital to after hospital follow-ups. Dr. Fitzharris made sure that I understood what was going to happen, and what was needed to become whole again. I was on my way to die w/o medical care, and he not only gave me excellent medical care, but he did it in such a manner that I understood and felt comfortable about it. His staff & the others who took care of me were all "Aces"!
