Dr. Gregory Douds, MD

After working with this doctor for a few months and trying to get updated MRIs, he told me nothing new would show although I was having new neurological symptoms that involved me having to go to the ER. He blamed my insurance, I called them and they said they'd approve of new scans because there's new symptoms. (The ER wanted scans as well but because it's a rural area they couldn't get them) When I told him this he brushed it off and sent old scans to a neurosurgeon who couldn't correctly tell me what was going on because of the old MRIs. After calling again to say I was having problems, his staff informed me that he doesn't know what to do with my condition and to find someone else.

I trust no one else! Dr. Douds saved my life

He reviewed my records prior to appt. He suggested seeing me at his Las Vegas clinic instead of Kingman due to equipment is what I was told. Asked and was told we could do initial appt here then further in Vegas. Go to appt for him to be rude, no compassion and told he hasn't dealt with brain tumors in over 3 years. Wasted my time. My symptoms continue to worsen and I waited 2 months for this appointment for a condition he doesn't treat. Smh.

He was friendly, informative, & did a great job with procedure. I would highly recommend Dr. Douds.

we have had no experience with Dr Douds but it seems he has billed my insurance for a $1000 totally fraudulent claim. He will be reported.

Dr. Douds removed a cancerous tumor between T9-T12 on Jan 31, 2021, and performed laminectomies on the implicated vertebrae. I woke from the anesthesia with no hangover, and no pain from the surgery. I have been pain free. Magical excellence!

Dr. Sounds was through in his exam and questions during my fiance's first visit. Ordered follow up tests and answered all of our questions completely. Was personable and polite entire time. We are looking forward to working with him.

Reading some of the reviews of people who expressed negative feelings regarding Dr. Douds I found myself wondering if there was more to the story. Or perhaps something blown out of proportion. I have had outstanding surgery, care and follow-up from the Dr and his staff. Heather in particular has been an angel. And in response to the individual that stated, "It seems once he gets the $$$$$ it's NEXT," I know for a fact that is not a true reflection of how Dr. Douds feels. This doctor is good at what he does. He may lack in returning calls or giving feedback to people, which was not the case with my sister. I just read other people's reviews. He is excellant at what he does. That's all that mattered when he removed two tumors from my sister's head. The second surgery was pretty scary, but my sister was ok with no problems. I lost my sister on October 6th, 2017 but I strongly believe that Dr Douds prolonged her life with his skillful hands. Dr Douds thank you.

Dr. Douds saved my life! I collapsed and didn't know I had a large meningioma. Dr. Douds performed surgery on me and did a fantastic job. Thank you, Dr. Douds!!! My only constructive criticism is that he needs to share a little more information in follow up appointments.

After performing surgery on my Mother while she was in ICU he did not respond to any pages afterward as her health dramatically declined. He showed up 4 days later saying he was on vacation and had no idea anything had went wrong while he was gone. All because of a botched surgery and no follow up care.

I fund Dr Douds to be highly competent and knowledgeable about Spina Bifida, TC and hydrocephalus. He sat with me and explained my situation. He wants to do other Treatments before tackling what will be 2 very tricky surgeries. I liked him A Lot!

I'm writing this as I am very disappointed that I didn't receive the proper follow care after this doctor did surgery on my back. It seems once he gets the $$$$$ it's NEXT! I've been not seen now twice with appointments only to be told after in office that he was on vacation etc. I told him I was still in pain and he crooked his head as if I had 4. He put in my records that I express I was completely in relief that is just a lie as he must not have listened to me at all. Very disappointed! Liar!

I don't mind paying my deductibles for services rendered, My Adult Arachnoid Cyst was clearly outside of his scope of experience, that's cool, never did get the referral that was discussed, but they certainly didn't seem to have any problem with billing my insurance company and sending me a bill for my deductible, Thanks

Dr. Douds performed a brain coiling on me in January of 2014 after I suffered a sub-arachnoid brain aneurysm. He saved my life. I made a complete recovery, and I have nothing but respect and gratitude for his surgical skill.

Very rude, does not listen, no exam.
