"It's just a little pain - You should go to work."
When my doctor retired, Dr. Greg DeFazio was recommended. I went to Dr. Greg for an internal exam because of extreme bleeding and cramping. I have fibroids, cysts, and have had 2 surgeries to help. I explained to him that I could barely walk around my apartment, so I couldn't walk to the bus/train, plus I have a job where I'm on my feet much of the day. After the internal exam, he said what he was seeing was "a normal period" and he "wouldn't recommend you stay home from work for this." I couldn't walk to the express bus stop, yet he thought I could walk around work all day. He refused a note for missed work, and said the Covid vaccine caused the bleeding. When the test results came back showing a cyst of 1 1/4" he said "a cyst could cause a little pain." Me: "I was taking 8 Advil daily and still couldn't function." Him "I said it could cause a little pain, I didn't say you had a little pain." Belittles your pain. Backpedalling, no apology. Horrible experience.

Its the first time I have a DR who had listened to me, give me advised and treatment without rushing. He is very kind and truly cares about patients, he follows up with your exam results. So glad I found this DR. Also his staff is great the girls are very pleasant, attentive and well informed about procedures and schedules. And I waited less than 2 min to see the DR I am amazed.
