Awesome!
Best surgeon I have had for 2 different surgeries! Great bedside manner, always attentive, patient with many questions I asked. Have been his patient for many years and will continue even though now I live over an hour away!

I have been a patient of Dr. Dairyko for about 5 years starting from his helping diagnose a torn meniscus. Dr. Dairyko performed an arthroscopy that went exceedingly well. After several years the knee got worse and Dr. Dairyko worked with me through prescribing PT and occasionally getting cortisone shots. Early in 2021 my knee had deteiriorated to the point where a replacement was necessary. The surgery was a major success and I recoverd full motion of my knee within a few weeks. At my 2 week appointment I was walking without a crutch. Dr. Dairyko has always been very pleasant and explained treatment options with both pros and cons. I always felt heard and my concerns and questions were answered fully. I would reccomend Dr. Dairyko unconditionally.

What a great surgeon, and person. I had a ruptured quadriceps tendon repaired by Dr. Dairyko and ten weeks later I am 90-95% back to normal. He is patient, knowledgeable, personable, pleasant and at least in my case his surgical skills were awesome! He has a great manner and answers all questions. He called my ride after my surgery to let her know that all was great and that the surgery went well, and she was also impressed by his calm and supportive attitude. I consulted with him on a Tuesday and was in for surgery on a Thursday. VERY little pain and the repair is 100% successful. So impressed and so thankful.

Dr. Dairyko fixed my rotator cuff. He gave clear instructions for after care. He responded quickly to questions through Mychart. His staff was friendly and helpful. This plus the great PT department at DuPage Medical helped me recover full use of my arm and shoulder. I highly recommend their service!

Saw Dr. Dairyko for a rotatorcuff tear and labral tear in my shoulder. Surgery was easy to schedule and was a success. Throughout the 5 month recovery process, he answered all my questions, including things I asked him to explain more than once. He was easy to talk to and very patient which has not always been my experience with surgeons. Having rotator cuff surgery is not exactly fun, but several months after, I have full range of motion and am thrilled with the results. I highly recommend Dr. Dairyko.

I had a great experience with Dr. Dairyko. I had a skiing accident and had a full rupture of my ACL, medial meniscus tear and high grade sprain/ tear of my MCL. I was able to get into Dr. Dairyko fairly quick. I started with PT for a few weeks and then he completed my surgery. He used a patellar tendon graft. The graft was great and he did an amazing job on my stitches. I continued with PT for months after my surgery and now I almost back to 100%. Dr Dairyko has always been great about getting back to me when I send him messages through MyChart as well as always took me for appointments on time. He put my mind at ease and did an amazing job repairing my knee. I would highly recommend Dr Dairyko for any surgery needs for your knee.

I met with Dr. Gregory Dairyko during the Covid crisis due to a meniscus tear. Although it was an uncertain time both he and his staff were very professional and attentive. A skilled surgeon, Dr. Dairyko places as much emphasis on care and communication with his patients who takes the time to answer questions and to outline procedures clearly and with empathy. My surgery and the physical therapy he ordered were all very successful. An additional note, everyone I encountered during my experience who work with Dr. Dairyko (physicians, nurses and physical therapists) offer unsolicited high praise for his skill, patient and team communication, problem solving and attention to his patient's well being. He's the best.

Met with Dr. Dairyko when I suffered a catastrophic knee injury that required emergency surgery. He performed the surgery with mastery skills, spent time explaining the road ahead of me-therapy etc., listened to and answered all of my questions. The staff performed at a high level too.

Excellent physician who blends the science and art of medicine. My knee surgery went smoothly, and I felt well taken care of from diagnosis thru follow thru. Clearly he has the skills to perform the surgery but just as importantly, he was able to manage my fears confidently.

Last year I tore my labrum in my shoulder Snowboarding. The pain was unbearable and couldn’t do my job to the best of my abilities. Thank god I found Dr. Dairyko. He recommended an MRI, and was able to indentify the problem I was having. Dr. Dairyko was very helpful explaining my injury and options for treatment. I decided to go ahead and get arthroscopic labral repair surgery. Dr. Dairyko and his team performed the surgery. The results have been life changing. I am very thankful to Dr. Dairyko

A disappointing experience. Came to see him because of his published philosophy of returning patients to their preinjury athletic level. Instead, I found him dismissive, uninterested in finding out my lifestyle prior to injury, and high handed in recommending a treatment plan without taking my feelings into account. He dismissed all suggestions I made, and didn’t seem interested in discussing treatment options. Couldn’t leave the room fast enough. I have never felt so marginalized by my doctor.

Excellent! I had two procedures done. One on my left knee and one on my right knee. He did an excellent job on both knees and he is a very personable and nice doctor. I would highly recommend him. If I need an orthopedic doctor in the future, he would be the first doctor I would call.

I saw Dr. Dairyko for horrible pain in left knee. First he wanted to try physical therapy. Which made sense starting with a noninvasive treatment but after two PT visits the knee hurt worse and I felt something pop. So off for an MRI the results of which saw a nasty torn meniscus. Microscopic surgery was the only option at this point. Dr. Dairyko did a fantastic job. He really cares about, listens to, and answers any questions a patient might have.

Fell 20 feet from a ladder right onto left ankle and wrist the weekend prior to July 4th Holiday. Was able to see Dr Dairyko the very next day. XR showed break and my foot was a mess. Didn’t want to have surgery at first, but Dr was straight and to the point. Needed surgery. Appreciate his direct nature and he made me feel at ease. Scheduled surgery late on a Monday prior to the 4th for me and put me back together again. Would recommend Dr Dairyko to anyone needing surgery. Extremely talented!

Dr. Dairyko repaired my torn meniscus. The entire process, from initial consultation to post-surgery follow-up, went very smoothly. The doctor identified my problem quickly and recommended appropriate testing to confirm. The surgery I opted for, rehab, and follow-up were all done on a timely basis. Dr. is very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining everything. Highly recommend. If you experience a delay with the surgery scheduler, just keep calling back like I did! Was not a big deal.
