Dr Crane is a very caring individual. He explains potentially all treatment options and presents the pros and cons of each. He quickly responded to alll my questions. During our conversations he frequently provided applicable advice and examples of successful therapies resulting in quick recovery. You can trust Dr Crane to provide you in his opinions of effective cancer treatments. However, the patient always makes the final decision on the therapy used.

Could be better
I found my follow up exams to be very cursory. I spent more time in the waiting room than I did with the doc. The exam was not thorough, and although I am a 12-year survivor, there was no discussion of labs, of my condition, of anything I should be aware of or watching for. Dismissed my bringing up some pain that (I hope) is arthritis. I only see him once a year but am increasingly disappointed.

Dr. Crane explains things in a kind, thoughtful, yet detailed manner. We knew that we were in the right place as soon as he came into the room. He is supportive and on top of things. He quickly adjusts treatment needs according to what the body is able to tolerate at any given moment. Bottom line, there is a trust and comfort level with him that is absolutely necessary particularly in the difficult fight against cancer. Love him and the entire staff is so compassionate as well.

I think that he doesn't understand or care how hormone altering medications affect his female patients. Nor does he recognize when a patient is experiencing an extreme side effect. It is my experience that his answer to every symptom is to try to medicate the patient into submission with anti-depressants.
