If I could give negative stars I would. An absolute horrindious, arrogant, excuse for a doctor. After he did my first surgery I complained of pain and numbness in my lower right leg that was slowly spreading to my left leg. He wouldn't listen and treated me like my pain would resolve itself in time. A year later and another back surgery to fix what he ignored and no 1/2 a year later and still have extensive nerve pain and numbness in both legs with no hope of relief. I strongly suggest anyone reading this to go anywhere else

What a despicable human being Dr. Wheeler... shame on you. I wouldn't wish mom's pain on anyone but I hope that one day you are humbled with it. My mother came to you with spinal stenosis and bulging discs and you said that there was nothing wrong with her - mom said light-heartedly "you have to fix me" and you said it wasn't your problem and walked out on her. Could you possibly be any more insensitive? Mom sought out another doctor who now has her pain free and on the road to recovery!

Cannot praise his ability as a surgeon enough. I was sent to Dr. Wheeler again and after reviewing my MRI on my lower back he felt I could benefit from surgery. He was correct! He basically gave me life again! Before surgery I was unable to go to work most days and if I did I couldn't get out of my office due to the pain. I had to give up all my hobbies and basically sat around the house in pain! I am now pain free and able to live life to the fullest! He is an AMAZING surgeon.

The staff is ultra rude and have no concept of treating you as a human. They should all be fired.

No bedside manner. Did not do a review of my father's medical record. Basically ran him through the office like a head of cattle. Should have came here to Healthgrades first before agreeing to see him. Dr. Wheeler, you have earned your 1 star rating. Congratulations.
