Dr. Greg Fihn, DO

Terrible staff, mediocre Doctor. After several bad incidents I refuse to go back.

I have been asking for refills on my medication along with my pharmacy 5 different phone calls. They refuse to listen or read the notes on my account stating this is a 1 year RX and NO Generic. What did they do? Sent in Generic and 9 refills. Called again and again then was told I needed to do more bloodwork which was already done and has nothing to do with my medication. On the 5th call they had Dr. ready to sign RX and it was still wrong. Generic with now only 4 refills! They do not know how to read or listen and never call you back. My Pharmacy has requested the same 3 times and still did not get it right. Had I known this much trouble I would have asked my specialist to give the RX. I will NOT be returning to this Doctor.

I have been with Dr. Fihn for over 20 years and he is very helpful. I like his assistants also... you don't have to wait very long to see him. He is very friendly and thorough.

I've had Dr. Fihn as my primary care physician for several years now. He's very thorough and takes his time with me on my visits. He doesn't just rush through from patient to patient.

I have been trying to dr fihn for a month now all I need are refulls on all my med and we had a app to see him we want to see him and we got the run around sent to three dif offices and whwn we did get to the right one and all I needed was refill on all our meds we were told that we had to pay ten dollars each just to get refills I have called him to see if he would call in refill and thay told me that thay cant do that the people that work for him a rude

Doc spent very little time with me. I went to the office a week in advance to provide authorization to get records from previous doc. That did not appear to be done. Gave preprinted prescription order form and drug info on Tues appointment. By Fri prescriptions still not ordered. Different excuse every day.

I was recently diagnosed with diabetes type II. He did his job well informing me of the management options and referring me to the necessary other people that I should be talking too. It is difficult to get things done quickly with his office, but I believe that things get done correctly which is the more important thing.

I thought Dr Fihn was a good Doctor. But he ordered a test that was not necessary and my insurance declined it because it had been done 10 months ago and it is only covered once a year. I called to see what could be done about this. The office manager will not return repeated calls and messages,about 12 of them, and I have left several messages for the Doctor to call. I would hate to pay $144.00 for a test that was ordered and not covered at that time. It would have been covered if performed 2 m

Dr. Fihn is always caring and ready to listen to the patient's needs and concerns. He will even ask questions that we haven't ever thought of. He spends time and is very thorough with noting all of my medical issues. Most impressive is his full report of past and present medical history. Then he will construct a plan of care if necessary. I recommend Dr. Fihn to anyone who needs and appreciates the best in Family Medicine.
