“Dr. Okazaki—caring, wise, and truly the best!”
Dr. Okazaki was the best doctor I’ve ever had! He truly cared, took time for me, and gave great advice. He was deeply insightful, always focused on the root cause of problems, and incredibly honest—no beating around the bush with him. We built a strong bond, and just being around him made me feel better. I miss him a lot! If I win $250 million, he’s becoming my private doctor! Love you, Dr. O!

My best primary care physician ever.
I so wish this doctor did not leave the Summerville SC area. He maybe misunderstood by some looking at his ratings. He was the absolute best primary care physician I've ever had. He recognized issues and sent me to specialists that were able to identify problems that improved my quality of life greatly. In more then 50 years and many doctors no one else ever caught these issues that were always there. He was always concerned and noticing and mentioning things others never had. He helped me with an addiction that I've been free of since his departure. I honestly don't know that I would have managed that without his concern and persistent assistance. No other doctor had taken the time to help me through so many troubles with success and I thank him very much. I wish there were more doctors that cared about the patients problems as much. It may not be easily recognizable in his personality but I consider him a top of the line physician! Hard to find replacement for a good doc.

Not great bedside manners
I will be looking for a new PCP unfortunately. I agree with the above comment about him being focused on his computer & that I had to force the subjects that I wanted addressed. Instead he focused on the unnecessary ultrasound he guilted me into taking. I have been in the medical field for years, know my body & have surgeons as friends who I trust with everything & knew it was not needed but he told me 'if you get liver cancer it's not my fault' cancer is NO ONES fault !!! Such an ignorant & rude thing to say to someone, especially since I had NO symptoms & my labs were not markedly abnormal. Initially I thought he was good until I realized I was spending an hr or two in the office for things that should have & could have been in & out. T

Dr. Okazaki is the best doctor I've every had. You can tell he stays up to date on the latest developments in medicine. He listens carefully, and offers very sound medical advice based on a logical analysis of the information. It's clear he cares about his patients, and he's always taken as much time is needed to understand my situation and prescribe the best course of action for my situation.

Very disappointing! So focused on his computer! You can't say anything nor tell him how you feel. Some kind of rudeness in him. May be it's cultural. You have to remind him to discuss with you the exam he had asked you to take; except for blood works. Re medications, I felt like a guiney pig; always on a trial and error condition.

I was his patient at lifetime and I'm very disappointed to find out he's no longer there. Dr. Okazaki examine his patients with care and he will get to the bottom of any problem you may have. I'm truly going to find out where he went and follow him. I miss his service.
