Left Feeling The Pain
I went to see Dr.Mao 2 yrs this October. Was told I needed surgery again bc the bottom 2 titanium screws had sheared off at the head and the 4 disk fusion I had 10 yrs prior was now sliding down. Had the revised fusion that's now anchored into my pelvic bone. I came out of surgery with a pain in my left side thought it might go away after the drain tube came out. Nope still hurt Did the nerve blocks thought they were going to help. Nope Dr. Moa looked me in my eyes and said 'Don't give up on me' and I said 'No Don't You Give Up On Me '. And that's exactly what he did. He told me that there was nothing else he could do surgically so now I had to go to pain management. Dr. Mao I Guess You Gave Up On Me and Left Me Feeling The Pain and that isn't right of you. I put my life in your hands and you still have it. Can I please have it back.

Has written off my pain and refuses to help
I have been in excruciating pain for the past few months due to a benign tumor pressing on nerves at my tailbone. I can't stand for more then 30 seconds let alone walk. I can't remember the last time I could go to the store. I can't remember the last time I got more than 3-4 hours of sleep at night because of the pain. The pain has been disrupting work. And I've ended up in the ER because of the severity of it. In my first appointment it suggested that I try an epidural corticosteroid injection first to try to avoid any possible nerve damage. So I did that. It didn't take. Called back to see what the next step was - and was told to take ibuprofen and acetaminophen and then go get a follow-up MRI in June. If ibuprofen and acetone helped the pain, I wouldn't be seeing a neurosurgeon. His office staff is also INCREDIBLY rude. Both front desk and nurses are extremely short in answering questions and have zero compassion for who they're talking to.
