Dr. Gloria Simms, MD

Dr Gloria Simms - Expect she will make her own conclusion before she actually gives the patient an opportunity to disclose their personal symptoms. She bases her hypothesis based on previous records before listening to the patient's current symptoms. If the patient decides to redirect her or update her, she does not allow the patient to do that. She had a disconnect with patients, very authoriated, not empathetic. She will walk into the room and expect you to be quiet and listen to everything she has to say without a patient input. I don't know how well experience she may be, but her approach is very condescending.

terrible experience. I waited months to see her due to a series of health issues, and she took one look at me and told me it was nothing, and that it was all in my head and needed a psychiatrist, all because I had mentioned that I suffer from anxiety! I left there in tears. she later apologized when I complained through the patient portal, but I lost complete respect for her as a medic. she throws her weight around in a very demeaning and condescending way. she denied me an MRI and let me go with mental health referrals... I'm glad others had positive experiences with her. hard to imagine after my one and only time with her.

Wouldn't recommend going, gave me three differant meds which didn't work, than tried a procedure that also didn't work. I feel worse, and always in pain more than I did before. Called to see what she can do to help me out. Wouldn't see me cause the insurance didn't cover my visit. Wouldn't take payments. Only cares about money. If i could I'd give her a zero for stars. I wouldn't recommend seeing her at all.

She treated and adjusted my stimulator for DBS while not being thoroughly familiar with unctions and adjustment procedure with this Medtronic product resulting in pain from her work. She did try to re-adjust unit, but it never functioned well until I saw neurologist up North near my home.

Wonderful Dr. Very caring, compassionate, understanding, I'm going to miss her, wishing her all the best at her new place.

Zoom call visit b/c of COVID-19. She is personable, explains well , very knowledgeable with a good patient interaction and friendliness.

Excellent doctor. Very compassionate about her patients and takes her time during visits to explain and answer questions. The office staff is great too. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 mins at any appointment to see Dr. Simms.

I Love this Neurologist. She is very attentive, very thorough, and very easy to communicate with.

I think patients don't like her cuz she's upfront tells it like it is but, the patients should appreciate it but, most don't care to hear the truth especially if they are at fault by not following the Dr. orders or recommendations. Great job Dr. Simms I do have to admit sometimes I don't like what I hear but, the truth is the truth

The NP was amazing as was Dr. Simms. Extremely thorough exam of my 89 year old father. All questions asked were answered in a manner both he and my mother could understand. My more technical questions were also addressed professionally. I Enthusiastically recommend this provider.

I like the fact that she's willing to challenge others' diagnosis, that she asks lots of questions and wants to work with my other doctors to get to the bottom of things. I did not like the fact that she would interrupt while I was talking and sometimes jump to conclusions of what she thought I was doing or trying to say.

Very rude, constantly berates patient. Seems to be quite knowledgeable but will not listen nor discuss nor answer your questions and concerns without snap remarks.

Excellent. Dr Simms explained the “good, bad and ugly” in a way that I understood. I highly recommend her, her nurse practitioner s and staff.
