The MA for Dr Johnson was wonderful. She was very friendly and professional. Listened to my issues and actively worked for resolution.

Dr Johnson explained my options and was very thorough in his evaluation. He came highly recommended by another orthopedic surgeon who trusted him to perform surgery on him and his wife. I would recommend him.He has a good reputation and is a gentle soul who makes your feel comfortable.

Dr. Johnson thoroughly diagnosed my problem and explained my options. Although a shot in the wrist was painful, I woke up the next day pain free! Would recommend him to any of my family members!

Only contact was with a PA. She injected both of my hands, where I was experiencing bad arthritis.

Dr Johnson was: •through and took time to explain my jury •He gave me options and suggestions for next steps on fixing my injury • Took the necessary x-rays and ultrasound, examined my hand vlosely to help make a next steps plan for repairing and getting my range of motion back •Had a sense of humor • Knew his stuff

After doing an ultrasound, there was no evidence that the tendons or nerves were damaged. However Dr.Johnson gave me the option to do exploratory surgery. I chose to do the surgery. That was my 1st and only surgery at 43 years old. So it wasn't an easy decision to make. As a carpenter, I need both hands. Doctor Johnson was able to find cut tendons and nerves and reattach them. I am healing now. The surgery was yesterday. I have lots of pain today as expected. However, I am more optimistic that I will be able to use it again without issues. THANK YOU, DR.JOHNSON

Dr Johnson has performed soon to be 3 surgeries on my upper extremities. His staff is amazing and his surgical skills are definitely professional and experienced. I am a satisfied patiently and would refer anyone that asked.

Dr. Johnson is not only a top notch surgeon but combines his skill with a compassionate and kind concern for his patients. My visit was a great experience with clearly defined results of test and explanations of possible options for treatments. All in all an exceptional visit to an exceptional doctor.

Very professional, dry (rawhide dry) sense of humour. I share his frustrations to no idea what is going on with my hands. However, he's the Dr, not me. Did he not read the referral? I'm thankful for the time he took looking at my hands/digits but, a bit of a sense of humour goes a long way with me. I'm hoping he will be able to figure the problem out. This has been going on for over a year. Would I recommend him? Too soon to say.

I saw Dr. Johnson for thumb and wrist pain that persisted for over a month. He quickly diagnosed the problem and offered several options. He explained everything in detail. I am now completely pain free. I highly recommend him.

I’m experiencing extreme pain and from what I is most likely capital tunnel. I had to wait a week to see the doctor since they were off for spring break. When I finally got my appointment I didn’t even see the doctor just his PA. She did examine and and prescribe some steroids to help but that’s it. Never saw the doctor to discuss plans of action and what he would do if the ENG test came back postive/bad. It was going to be a longer wait for their in-house to test me than it was from the place the walk in clinic sent me to. I expected more from this practice once of their doctors replace my hips help fix my knee and is a god send I love him and saw him the first time not the PA.

The staff and the Professionalism of everyone was very much Appreciated, Dr Johnson looked at my X-rays and gave me the options of what I would like to be done next, I am new to Indiana and back in Pa Drs wouldn't have laid it out that way, it's there way, Thank you so much. Hopefully with MRI we will know more.

Injury after a fall

Had a recent visit with Dr. Johnson at Tri State Orthopedics, and he took the time to explain the difference between an x-ray vrs an ultrasound, and why the ultrasound imaging what confirm his diagnosis with better clarity. He seems to be a superlative hand specialist whom I would gladly refer anyone to.
