Great surgeon
Dr. Harper is a great Dr. I had surgery April 29, 2024 and so far I feel great. Every one I saw through the whole process was kind and caring.

Excellent Physician
Dr Harper is extremely knowledgeable and personable. He took a thorough history and performed an extensive examination on my husband. Dr Harper recommended a procedure and thoroughly explained the procedure and expectations. I would recommend Dr Harper to anyone without question.

My mother is in Ascension Seton as I write this having her spinal fluid drained so he can fix a tear he made 11 days ago while implanting a spinal stimulator. She was released the morning after the 1st surgery for a 2 hour drive home with only verbal instructions ro lay flat 3 or 4 days. No written instructions, no meds and no antibiotics. She has been in excruciating pain and unable to function the last week. She's now looking at a week's stay in the hospital. It will take 3 days to drain her spinal fluid before he can fix the leak. My mother is a 68 year old diabetic and my father is 70 and quite hard of hearing. Both are beside themselves and my sister and I have no idea how to help them. If this doesn't help her, I won't hesitate to share another review.

He has a great bedside manner. I have had two surgeries some with him now. The only problem is the HORRIBLE wait time at the office. Currently they have had me sitting here 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment just to see his PA.

Dr. Harper is impossible to see, and one will need to pack a lunch for an early appointment, the waiting time is HORRIBLE. Nice man, but not worth the effort to see him.

Dr. Harper's fusion left my father with excruciating pain, new-onset high blood pressure, & crippling symptoms and inability to walk. It was so poorly done & left him in such bad shape that no other surgeon was willing to risk operating on him. This man's objectives are status and money alone. He does unnecessary, & unsafe surgeries. He looks great on paper, but he does not care or have the know-how to perform well in the OR.

I had sciatica, foot neuropathy foot pain. He worked me right in, ordered an MRI and recommended surgery. I worked with him in the OR as an side. He always seemed so kind and caring, especially to the patients and their family. I was thankful for the same care. He and Lisa did great. I am now following instructions, but love the foot neuropathy is gone!!

Love him so far (surgery has not yet been performed) but seems personable and very competent. I'm glad to put myself in his hands. However, of my six doctors I am working with, he is the ONLY one that does not have a patient portal for checking appointments, transmitting data, correcting med lists, transfer labs, etc. Patient portals are really, really useful. If he has one I sure can't find it online.

James V. I have seen 3 other surgeons in the last 2 years, taken every test known to man, MRI after MRI, X-ray after X-RAY & been told I don't see anything wrong can't help you, been blown off by everyone I've seen before Dr. Harper, he saw what no one else did. Dr. Harper and his entire staff, hospital included is the most kind, caring people I've ever dealt with. They CARE & they LISTEN. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I don't normally put in recommendations for doctors but this group is over the top amazing! I was beyond pleased with Dr. Harper, his PA, Bryan Johnson, his nurse, Susan and every other staff member I came into contact with. If you are in need of a neurosurgeon, this is the one I would recommend. Their kind and laid back demeanor was the perfect way to handle their patients.
