Dr. Girisha Kaur, MD

Dr Khaur has been my PCP for more than 5 years and she has always been a good doctor who listens to me and explains my test results and answers my questions thoughtfully. She is a doctor that tries to cure your disease and not just your symptoms and does not over medicate you by just dispensing drugs.

Kaur appears to be a good doctor when it's just routine visits. However, recently I had a medical crisis and needed to see her. It took me weeks and I only got in when I expressed disappointment that she was 'refusing' to see me. It seemed she took offense to this, called me in, and said she did not 'refuse' to see me, and I felt she was arrogant and aloof for the rest of the visit. She discredited my symptoms and refused the treatment I knew I needed and requested. She failed to follow up on a test and scheduled another appointment for 4 months later. No interest in following up with my medical care. I left her and Southwest and found another doctor at Archwell. Very happy with the switch.

My mother has been going to her and each time she is feeling worse and worse. She asked her to fill out her necessary FMLA forms and refused. My mother was explaining the muscle and body pain she has been feeling for months and Dr. Kaur laughed and called her dramatic, saying she was exaggerating because “she looked fine.” Meanwhile, my brother assisted my mother because she is unable to move sometimes due to her pain and Dr. Kaur was belittling to both of them. Such a lack of professionalism and empathy is disappointing. This isn’t the first time Dr. Kaur has been disrespectful to my mother, but my mother was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. This time though, for her to laugh in her face as she’s in tears and not doing anything to help AGAIN is enough. She should not be practicing medicine if she does not want to help and thinks it’s okay to be disrespectful to her patients. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone who cares about their health, because she doesn’t.

I was a patient of Dr Kaur’s for about 2 years. I had recently moved to Las Vegas I needed a knowledgeable physician who was a good communicator so that if things needed to be discussed it wasn’t ackward or difficult. Dr. Kaur exceeded my expectations. Knowledgeable, Caring, and she communicated with me rather than just talking over my head she helped me understand my situation and how we would address it. I miss her tremendously. I’ve lived all over the U.S. so finding a physician of her caliber was amazing. I only left VEGAS so I could care for my Father back in the Midwest. Hoping my next physician is comparable to Dr. Kaur at least until I move back ????.

Dr. Kaur is one of the best doctors I've ever had, hands down. She was extremely helpful and provided me with insight I had never had before. I felt comfortable disclosing my health concerns and was not rushed discussing my issues. Dr. Kaur expressed compassion and I really felt cared about. Highly Recommended! Great Experience!

I'm so happy that my co-worker recommended Dr. Kaur to me. I was very impressed by her when she greeted me with sincere warmness and professionalism. She was very easy to talk to, very attentive to my medical concerns and answered all my questions in a way that I could understand. I will definitely continue seeing Dr. Kaur for all my medical issues and I would highly recommend her to others so they can experience terrific medical care like I received.

I have been living in Las Vegas for the last 11 years and Dr. Kaur is by far the best primary care provider I have ever seen. Not only is she knowledgeable and professional, she is caring, compassionate, and takes the time to listen to and address every concern I have. I have already recommended her to family members and friends, and will continue to do so.

Please avoid this Doctor at any and all cost. She has no compassion or sense of urgency to provide care. 10 weeks to get a referral set up and its still not. I was advised to go to my previous Out-of-Network (Cash) Doc to get my medicine, to have them call that Doctor and say I was doctor shopping! Which I was never prescribed anything. Only went for a referral. So rude. Has that I'm better than you attitude. Will be going to the BBB and State medical board with more incidents.
