Dr. Giovanni Geronilla, MD

I've had Dr Geronilla every since Dr Verderame retired. He's rather friendly but I don't trust his judgment. I'm a registered nurse so quite naturally I'm not easily swayed. He has gave me 3 different diagnosis didn't perform any tests to confirm it. He will not refill my blood pressure medication in a timely fashion even when he tells me he is sending in the prescription. Today I come in for my appointment after taking the day off work he has quit without no notice or reason.....

Dec 17th had heart tests ran, called 7 times trying to get results, February 11th I get a call from Dr. G and he says my test results are all normal. I asked why is my heart rate extremely high and I'm having chest pains. I ask to get a cardiologist referral. I go see a cardiologist and he advised me to find a new primary care Doctor. I went in today March 11th for a heart procedure and find out I will need heart surgery. Poor patient care and disrespectful Dr to not take patient care seriously. Talks down to patients like they are dumb. Comes into appointments saying "WHAT DO YOU WANT?". refused to fill necessary meds without telling patient. This Dr. could care less about patients. Getting referrals from this Dr was a nightmare. I'd get treated extremely poor if I called this office ever, I'd put off calling about my own medical care, just because calling this Dr. office was so stressful. A Dr. Should be someone you can confide in and feel safe to communicate to. This Dr was not.
