I was referred to Dr. Torpin for low iron levels. I ended up getting a RATH surgery. She did an excellent job, had no complications and minimal pain. She is an highly skilled surgeon.

Dismissed my reason for coming, after telling me she was done with the least thorough exam of my life, she was so mentally unavailable for any sort of advice moving forward. She did not take my concerns pelvic pain seriously whatsoever. Completely overlooked. Honestly as someone looking for relief, she was a nightmare.

Dr. Torpin treated me for an endometrial cyst. Her skill and professionalism made this difficult experience bearable. Of course, she was competent in all the ways you'd expect of someone with her training and expertise. She was also excellent at communicating with my wife and me, answering questions and laying out options in language we could understand. At every step, I felt heard and respected. As a queer, masculine-of-center woman, this is rare, especially in an OBGYN setting in rural NE.
