Dr. Gilbert Postler, MD

This is a great office. They are all attentive & I have always been able to see Dr. Postler or his associates when needed. They take the time to listen to you & answer questions. They always tell me to call if needed & always refill prescriptions over the phone. I am very happy with the office & they are very patient & work with you to find solutions.

About 3 years ago my husband and I decided to be proactive and started seeing Dr. Postler for baselines and annual checkups. This year a month after my annual checkup where I told him I was having shortness of breath issues, I went to see my Primary Doctor for coughing issues and she said my lungs were clear, but she could hear a murmur. After several tests Dr. Postler diagnosed my problem as a 4+ Mitral valve issue. At my follow up after my TEE test where I thought I would be getting more details as to what 4+ meant, all I got was "it's bad". When I asked what that meant, he said "you need surgery". I felt like he thought I was too "stupid" to understand and left the office after 5 minute frustrated. He said "call me after your surgery for the post-op care" I'm already looking for a different cardiologist.

Dr. Postler is knowledgeable, caring, friendly and explains conditions very well. He has a clear plan of action. Waiting time at appointment mostly much less than 15 minutes. Office is very clean and comfortable for me as a patient.

I highly recommend Dr. Postler. I saw him for a basic procedure and as part of his examination he found a major problem. He Immediately took steps to ensure the problem was addressed. He consistently communicated with all involved DRs as well as my family and I. His commitment to me as a patient put me at ease.

I highly recommend Dr Postler. He listens to what you have to say and gives you an answer back. Your not let in the dark wondering. He has a great personality for a Dr with with such a busy schedule but will give you the time you need. I have been to other doctors but his is the best and has a great sense of humor.

It takes a lot for me to ask for help and so I'm so disappointed that I finally reached out to Dr Postler for the issues I was having because I was scared to continue to ignore it. He had his PA read all my test results and based his diagnosis on what she said. He did not listen to me, ask me questions, or care what I had to say. If you don't actually know what's happening with your patient how can you make the correct diagnosis? I will never go see him again nor will I recommend him to anyone.

I "fired" my previous cardiologist because he had no bedside manner, was brusque, and only spent 2 mins. with me every time I saw him. Dr Postler is the exact opposite. I would gladly recommend him to anyone.
