I would go here again
DrVoung, the nursing staff, anesthesiologist, and the rest of the team were kind and considerate. This was my first colonoscopy and i was a bit anxious about it. Everyone helped me to feel more at ease.

I started seeing Dr. Vuong after my previous GI retired. I needed to renew my prescriptions quickly and he seemed okay. He is just that- okay. I think he'd be a good fit for someone who is mainly concerned about severe GI symptoms and doesn't have other illnesses that complicate treatment. Like most specialists I've encountered, he is very focused on his field and doesn't want to consider my whole-body health, and how non-GI conditions interact. I feel that he doesn't listen well if it doesn't have to do with his area of expertise. (Example: I expressed concern about the respiratory side effects of one of my GI medications, but he didn't want to change it because I "seemed to be tolerating it well." When I tried to explain that I'm not tolerating it, I have asthma and the side effects are problematic, he just seemed frustrated that I didn't agree with him.) If you need targeted care for GI issues, he's on it. If your treatment is more complex, don't expect him to think holistically.
