Pacemaker
I’m pushing 79 years old. My heart has both plumbing and electrical problems. 8 stents, 2 RF ablations, Watchman Implant and now a Boston Scientific Dual Pacemaker. Earlier this year during an appointment my cardio Dr Sankar had to advise me not to travel. Additionally, my EKG was not good enough for cardio rehab. Dr Sankar felt a pacemaker would help my slow heart rate issue. He sent me to Dr Giancarlo.Dr Giancarlo agreed with Dr Sankar. I have met with Dr Giancarlo 3 times face to face and a couple of patient portal messages. He explained the pacemaker process, answered my questions, performed the installation and checked the incision after…before turning me back over to Dr Sankar.Dr Giancarlo’s assistant and scheduler Jessica is tops. She has helped me for years. The preop, OR crew and postop people/process was/is A+. My slow heart rate has been fixed for months now.

Dr. Speziani was a huge disappointment. Although highly recommended, he consistently disrespected me by being perpetually late. From the first appointment to the final appointment, he was an average of 90 minutes late for appointments, even when the appointments were the first one of the day. For future reference, my time is just as valuable as Dr. Speziani's.

Dr Speziani was wonderful. He looked at my history and thoroughly discussed my condition before recomending a pace maker/defibrilator device. He implanted the device several years ago. My echo's now show my heart on the low side of normal and I am doing well. I highly recommend Dr Speziani.

Dr Speziani is amazingly talented. He saved my husbands life and I’m so thankful. We went to the emergency room and my husband had a pacemaker that same day. Dr Speziani took no prisoners, he got the job done in less than 24 hr. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. My 6yr old thanks you for saving his fathers life and giving him more time with his dad to get to know him better.
