Dr. Ghiath Tayeb, MD

1. Left a message that my wife was in pain. Never got a response back. 2. Called to pay a bill. Was on hold for 10 minutes and then the call was dropped. 3. Doesn't even have a website for online payment.

Dr. Tayeb is One of the Best Gastroenterology .He respect his patients by be on time . He and his Associates treat the patients Friendly and respectfully

Dr tayeb & his associates are wonderful HOWEVER!! SOME of the office staff & their scheduling appointments & test is really messed up bad something is not right

Dr. Tayeb is very knowledgeable and caring. He listens carefully and thoroughly answers all of my questions. He is a skilled practitioner.

This is a doctor I couldn't say enough good about, when I was diagnosed with a very rare disorder that was very affecting to my gastrointestinal system in many different ways with many symptoms that were hard to manage, he was the only Gastroenterologist of many from other hospitals as well as the University of Michigan to be able to manage my symptoms and bring me back to a healthy state in my life after one of the top hospitals in michigan University of Michigan told me that I had only 6 months to one year to live and he was the only doctor that was able to get all my management under control and bring me back to where 12 years later I am in a well state of health. He also has taken care of my family and has done an excellent job at that and been very patient, courteous and kind to all of us and treated us with the utmost respect and is always went out of his way to meet the health needs and emotional support required throughout the times that he has treated us. Thank You Dr. Tayeb.

I'm on a 3 year schedule for colonoscopies. I make the first appointment of the day for my procedure so I don't have to fast as long. Dr Tayeb is habitually at least an hour late, and often more than that. His staff are even disturbed by his tardiness. He arrives and on a number of occasions I never saw him or spoke to him. Last time he started the procedure before I had been anesthetized. I screamed and he laughed. He stopped and waited for the anesthesia to take effect. I had the 7:00AM appointment and was not seen until after noon because he arrived in time for his staff to take an hour for lunch. I received a letter from his office dated December 1, 2019 stating it was time for my colonoscopy. When I called they said they had changed their system and had no record of my procedures every 3 years for the past 20 years. I should have switched a long time ago.

Pre colonoscopy was healthy no respiratory problems 12 minute procedure Woke from anesthesia coughing severely Was sent home Within hours had temperature of 101 a very sore throat and still coughing severely Went to primary physician Had above symptoms plus rattling in lungs with labored breathing Prescribed antibiotic, inhaler, steroid and cough medicine Negative for flu or strep throat 2.5 days post colonoscopy still have rattle in lungs and coughing How does this happen in 12 minutes?

I've had the worst Experienced Ever.

Never got to meet personally Dr. Tayeb, because according to the receptionist this doctor is doing only procedures and I asked for consultation first. Her second worry was if my insurance would cover the visit, and BC BS apparently was not on their list ? The next to my insurance would be self pay. An office which is asking what procedure is supposed to be done and not keen on scheduling consultation first and not taking BC BS- PPO is not for me.
