Good guy, honest and straight shooter
I like this Dr. he is honest and will tell you his professional opinion and has a backbone to where he'll actually tell you honestly. Some people can't deal with that, but I appreciate it.

Good Physician
I started seeing Dr. Serafini in the fall of 2014. I was very impressed. He got my diabetes, HBP, high cholesterol under control relatively quickly. Back then he took his time he had less patients. Fast forward today 2022. He’s much busier. He now has a Medspa as part of his practice and he’s much much busier!! Which means he has less time with each patient than he used to. I would say before he would spend 30 minutes with you now maybe 10 minutes. he’s a really nice doctor but he’s gotten too many irons in the fire. I think my personal opinion and he’s always closed on Fridays every week.

I can see why so many people love Dr. Serafini. I can also see how a few people who may just want drugs or really don't want expert help might not rate him as highly as they should. He's very upfront when you meet him as to what his goals are. He wants to keep you out of the hospital, medically optimize you and give you the best chance at a long productive and happy life. As he says, he's very aggressive about treating things that are going to cause you irreparable harm. As a fellow physician, I can tell you that you will be hard pressed to find another doctor in his areas of expertise whether it be endocrinology, preventive medicine or cosmetic dermatology who cares as much about his patients and their outcomes and is as efficient about drastically changing the trajectory of a patient's quality of life than Dr. Serafini.

Starting seeing Dr. Seafini some years ago, is very proactive and helps if you are a compliant patient. He also has the heart of a teacher and will take the time to listen and inform you of all options and treatment. Feel blessed to have him.

Dr. Serafini is very intelligent and his efforts speak for themselves. Before seeing him I was in the hospital every month or so and I haven't been in the hospital since I started seeing him. As long as I take my medicine and make my appointments I have the comfort of knowing that I'm going to live longer and have a better quality of life. I've never felt better. In response to others I would say that he is very clear on what he expects from his patients.

Dr Serafini kept me making office visits every 3 months for my Cholesterol and Thyroid meds, even knowing I was a self pay without benefits. He would not give me a script for anymore than 3 months. He ran tests that weren't needed. He checked me for menopase even though he knew I was way past that, I am 61. The testing was out of my pocket as I had no insurance. He had very few patients.

Terrible, he wants to take you off medicine after you have taken it for years. Then when you go to a specialty doctor that He knew you was going tk, he cancels your care. He has a lady named Courtney that is totally rude and obnoxious. Tons of miscommunication in his office. Would not recommend my dog to him.
