Expensive and didn’t fix the stigmatizing when he did the cataract surgery. Charged me extra for a lens which was suppose to fix my nearsightedness but it didn’t. Doesn’t answer with a straight answer. Money hungry and I would never recommend him to anyone. 2000 off the bat and everything else is extra.

Dr Tung recommended multifocal lenses for my cataract surgery. Not covered by Medicare. Cost $8000+. Lenses had to be removed and replaced with basic lenses that don’t correct bad astigmatism. Three doctors have said that, with my visual issues, I shouldn’t have had multifocal lenses. It is 5 months since my 4th surgery. I am having difficulty seeing. Dr. Tung has done little to help and argues with me about what I experienced after 1st surgeries. This continues to be a nightmare.

He absolutely treated me as if I am an object. Didn't explain my eye condition at all. I asked about it and he answered with one word. I asked to explain and he said just take this medicine 4 times a day. No respect.

My repeated experience is that when I asked about my eye condition he always seem to be distracted, Annoyed or rolling with his chair to answer a call. When an answer was given it was during rolling towards answering a call. I feel as if I’m on a long time wait conveyer belt business that he just is looking to grow...the lack of care for me was very uncomfortable. Business is his motivator and concern, that’s the feeling I got each time and I’m seeking carefully to find the right doctor.

This review is 100% a reflection of the office administration and scheduling. There have been last minute cancellations and when I am in the office the wait is almost an hour long. Dr. Tung himself is great, but the staff needs to schedule patients much better.
