Dr Schatz is the kind of rare doctor who collaborates with his patients,: he believes what you are telling him, he offers options for treatment or response to see what might be most helpful to you, and he's completely supportive of your choices since he believes your body belongs to you. Answers messages quickly; schedules really well; is completely accessible. Best doctor to have in your arsenal, especially as a "field general" or family medicine practitioner. Definitely one of the very best docs I've known, and I've known too many, most of them just terrible, through a life full of health problems. He's unbelievably smart but doesn't hold that, or his position, over you. Ever. ESPECIALLY GREAT IF YOU HAPPEN TO BE A SURVIVOR OF TRAUMA.

The worst doctor I have ever seen. Complete lack of follow-up. Comes off as arrogant and unprofessional.
