Dangerous
To collaborate what the previous person posted, I concur, Dr. Robinette is the worst physiatrist I have ever met and I’ve been under the care of a physiatrist for 14 years. Having had my virtual appointment on March 3, 2023 i trip in vein to explain to him I was in crisis, and the medication he prescribed was making it worst. He completely ignored me, told me that wasn’t possible, even though there are warnings on my scripts that clearly state the side effects. He became enraged and angry with me after I asked to come off the meds and start fresh with different meds. The session was supposed to be 45 minutes for $345. He told me he could no longer treat me 19 minutes into the virtual appointment and still billed my insurance company the full amount $345. He is a narcissist with a horrible attitude towards patients when he is challenged and doesn’t listen to his patients in crisis.

Terrible
This "psychiatrist" doesn't allow anyone to go back with a patient because "it works better for him". It doesn't matter that it causes the patient additional anxiety. With our situation, it was important that the patient's advocate communicate some of the recent issues. In the visit, he didn't listen to concerns that were voiced by the patient and just disregarded them. When Dr. Robinette was asked to explain why he felt a certain way, he became very defensive and rude. Since his opinion didn't match other medical professionals, we just wanted to clear idea of where he was coming from. I would never recommend him as a resource for professional help. NEVER.

Doctor is not listening anymore!
At first Doctor Robinette seemed caring and provided a professional service. After a few years of seeing him, he now seems like he won't listen to me when I tell him I'm having very severe side effects from taking one of the meds he prescribes to me. He tells me I must be imagining it. I'm in a group of 30 people who are all having the same issues from the same medicine and he still won't listen. I want to slowly wean off the medicine and he insists that I drop down and stop the med within a few weeks time. That method of tapering off has sent MANY people over the edge and to the hospital. I can't believe this is happening and I am changing doctors now. I would NOT suggest anyone go to him.

My wife was going to Dr. Robinette for a few years, but when she hit a real crisis and needed help he turned her away and banned her from the entire clinic including her therapist. He didn't ask any questions, he just dropped her once he found out she needed real help. He's always been quick to prescribe meds but never really understood what the underlying issues were and now that real help is needed he bailed and burned the bridge to the ground.

If you want someone that takes insurance and will just keeping you the same prescription in a 10 minute appointment, he's your guy. Otherwise get someone else. He doesn't remember anything about me including my name after 8 years.

This man told me that he couldn't handle my BPD and PTSD and psychotic episodes and had me committed against my will. The doctors in the hospital couldn't believe I was committed; they didn't think I needed to be.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Dr. Robinette does not work because he is passionate about psychiatry, he works for money. When I ask him questions, he gets irritated because he can't multitask (he's staring at the computer 80% of the time). He has consistently ignored a major concern regarding a side effect of a medication he's prescribed me, and ignored the fact my symptoms are worse since seeing him. If you question his decisions (which are final no matter what) he gets very testy.
