Dr Ramie is an excellent provider. He has diagnosed me with conditions that other physicians have missed and or dismissed. He has a great medical knowledge and understanding of the human body. Great doctor!
Dr. Ramie was great - he took the time to review my charts prior to our conversation, which is practically unheard of in my experience. He was caring, encouraging, and thorough with my history, needs, and the plan for my future health. Highly recommend him, especially if you want to consider bio-identical hormones.

Problem solver
Dr. Ramie is one of 2 doctors that perform robotic surgery, I had to wait a year to correct my prolapse, because I had a pregnancy right before surgery. When the time finally came, I saw Dr. Ramie, he remembered my case and we picked up where we left off. He did my surgery and was great at managing my pain. I am recovering and I am super happy that my body is slowly getting back to where it should be. All thanks to Dr. Ramie

Dr. Ramie is an excellent doctor. He is attentive and kind. He takes the time to answer my questions. Unfortunately its impossible to get your prescriptions authorized at this practice. I saw Dr. Ramie on 10/29. He asked if I could wait to get my hormone prescription filled until he received my blood work. I said yes. On 11/8 I realize I'm almost out of 2 of my other non-hormone prescriptions. I call the pharmacy and ask they contact my doctor for refills. The pharmacy sent the request on 11/9. I didn't hear from the office or the pharmacy all week. I'm now completely out of my 2 medications. I call Dr. Ramie's office on 11/12 and again ask for the refill or some explanation of why it's not being refilled. I call my pharmacy today 11/15. They confirmed they sent the request on the 9th and again today. I call the doctors office again asking why my medication has not be approved for refill. Its 11/15 at 3:03 PM, 5 business days and no response.

Five years ago I told Dr. Ramie that I had a polyp and that my previous doctor said that I should have an ultrasound every 2 to 3 years to check on it. I mentioned this a couple of years later and he brushed me off and told me that that was unnecessary since I would have post menopausal bleeding and we'd address it then and not to worry. Well that day came so I saw a different doctor and thenI had 2 polyp's and one of them was 10 mm in size. I'd rather have a gynecologist that treats me a bit more aggressively then the wait & see approach. I felt more like a number and less like a person because he was out the door before I had a chance to ask him anything. I don't want a doctor who talks little & rushes out the door. I would sum up his style as very uncommunicative & rushed.

Recommend getting a second opinion on any major issues. He seems knowledgeable and will answer any questions. Does not seem to thoroughly review chart before making recommendation. A year after I had him perform one type of surgery he asked if I was ready for another type of surgery, that had already been performed by another OBGYN a few years prior.

Dr. Ramie is wonderful doctor. He is caring, knowledgeable, and kind. Dr. Ramie delivered my child while my husband was deployed and was always sensitive to my physical and emotional well-being. He truly listens. I could not recommend Dr. Ramie more!

Emerald Coast is a fantastic practice but I highly advise anyone with advanced medical issues to do yourself a favor and avoid Dr. Ramie. He will never remember who you are as a patient, does not listen well and in my case legitimately gave me medical advice knowing it would cause more harm than good in contrast to several other doctor's opinions. I chose Ramie because his bio had stated in interest in high risk obstetrics, but if you're not a textbook case Ramie has no regard for your health.
