Bad experiences
I had pain for months. Kept going there and the Dr. couldn't figure out what was wrong. After 1 year of terrible pain I went to another doctor. I spoke to him about my pain, within 10 minutes he diagnosed me, put me on the proper medication and I have been cured, pain free since. I will never go back!

I am having my bladder removed due to cancer. My urologist wanted me to have a colonoscopy first. The receptionist gave me an office appointment in 3 weeks. After the office visit they would give me an appointment for the colonoscopy. I explained that I can cancer and needed the colonoscopy ASAP. I was told there was nothing available before that. I pleaded for fear the cancer might spread in the meantime. I asked the receptionist if anyone else in the office was available. After being on hold for sometime she gave mean appointment August 28. Again. Pleading and asking to speak with doctor personally to no avail. No response. Really? I called a colorectal doctor from Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. She gave me an appointment in 2 days. I will never return to that office

I LOVE Dr. Nikias. He is an outstanding doctor. However, his office staff, in my opinion, Is far to be desired. I have always felt that I am inconveniencing them just for existing. I have stood there waiting for the receptionist to look up and after a few minutes when she does, she is extremely rude. The final straw for me… Was having pretty bad stomach pains, a low grade fever as well as a few other symptoms. I called the service as it was a Sunday and was encouraged to go to the ER, which I did. I was diagnosed with diverticulitis and was told to immediately follow up with my GI, which I did the following day. Had to leave a message to schedule an appt so left a detailed message That was May 24th. I STILL haven’t received a call back so I was forced to find another doctor. Unbelievable!! I am disappointed because I really like him but my health is obviously not a priority for the office staff. Just a number I guess.

It took 1 hour to see him and the office staff was loud and rude, all the patients there where complaining. When I finally was admitted the doctor was uncaring. I was a new patient. He was totally uninterested in my problems and seemed to want to be anywhere else but there. Awful experience.
